Is there one food indulgence you won't give up?

For me it's real cream in my coffee. I have two cups in the morning and that's all. I enjoy it so much it's worth the calories. A friend commented that I could save a lot of calories by using low fat milk, but it just is not the same, so I count the calories and enjoy. Does anyone else have something they like so much they won't give up?

This. I'm looking forward to 1-2 bottles of Franziskaner whilst sitting on the porch tonight8 -
I never gave up my lifestyle. I won't give up eating out, and enjoying it. I never gave up having a glass of wine when I wanted one. I made some adjustments: the kind of pizza, the amount of food, etc. But I never gave up my lifestyle. After 14 years, that remains true.7

I haven't given anything up.1

For me, joining MFP and giving up false beliefs, also meant eating better, which, among other things, means no more "reduced" or "free" food. A little of the good stuff goes a long way, though. And I like to wait for the occasion to indulge, not let it be an everyday event. I eat anything I want, but not everything at once, and not all the time. It also means that I choose the best food available and in a setting that doesn't trigger overeating.6

I've found I can moderate any indulgence with the exception of one (CURSE YOU PEANUT BUTTER CUPS!), so everything's on the table. Weighed on the food scale first, of course!6

In maintenance now....I'll eat pretty much anything I want these days, including ice cream, chocolate and booze, but I make myself work for it/earn it.1

You really don't need to give up anything. Just make it fit your calories.
Says me sat here with a HUGE glass of wine7 -
If it fits your macros "IIFYM" Live life you only get one so enjoy it!!!!!1

I don't really give up anything except things with extreme calorie counts. I used to down cheeseburgers that topped 2,000 calories, which now I can't even fathom eating. But if I really want something, I either find a way to make it fit my calories, cut it in half and share it with someone, or buy a much smaller version of what I want.1

I don't really give up foods either but there's one thing I particularly love, and that is eating a whole box of Kraft mac and cheese. I do weigh the container before cooking and I will log the whole thing. Thankfully I usually end up with 500-600 cals from walking, so I can afford the calories to do so.
Oh and I doooo love Digornio stuffed crust pizza.1 -
Cheesecake for me but when shedding weight it is a once every ten weeks treat rather than the more frequent indulgence when off the wagon.1

Didn't really "give up" anything, but the most calorific thing I won't give up is regular dinners out. I like trying new restaurants and going to old favorites. None of it is easy to log (I've started just generally estimating), but it's part of my lifestyle and something that I had to find a way to make work (which turned out not to be too hard).2

I haven't given up anything just changed how often I eat it.
I will never give up Avocado's I make sure this fits in my calorie goals anytime:).0 -
Steak.
I'm cooking some tonight. I'm debating whether I want to cut into my bedtime snack for some wine with dinner.1 -

Opps I have given up meat but thats for a different reason.0

I've give up most chips as they won't fit in my daily calorie allowances, but I just can't give up on my ramen. It's all empty calories and salt, but mmm noodles... I eat less for breakfast/lunch on days I eat it so I can make it fit. Totally worth it every now and then!1

My son n bf are pizza eaters to the extreme so as I change my diet to a more healthier diet, I still have me some pizza. Just not as much lol1

Ice cream stays in my plan. I do not have it often, but it is certainly part of my options.0

I've given up quite a few things or reduced them out of my diet. But vanilla syrup in my morning coffee - I only put a small amount but I just can't resist.
(I don't count it, or the milk!)2 -
I'm the same as most others have said -- I haven't specifically given up things, but I have stopped eating the junk on a frequent/daily basis. I used to eat a ton of chips, cookies, donuts, and ice cream... now I am doing ice cream about once a week and trying to avoid the rest. On the weekend I made healthier homemade cookies... things like that. For me it's all about being consistent and making good choices, while still living life.2

Chocolate. I have one dove dark chocolate square every day with my noon vitamins & meds. I consider it my "don't be mean" medicine.4

Several here:
1. I *LOVE* real Vermont maple syrup (lived in Vermont for awhile) so use it on Belgian waffles occasionally.
2. Real cheese. I like all kinds of interesting cheeses and still buy them, just try to limit them to 1-2 ounces a day. My current favorite is Old Croc Australian Extra Sharp Cheddar--a tiny bit goes a long way in taste.
3. Keeping with the cheese theme--real homemade mac and cheese on occasion. This is a HUGE indulgence, though--real cheese, real milk, real butter, breadcrumbs, the works. Don't do this one very often.
4. Cake--I can resist crappy supermarket cakes, but real bakery cakes with lots of buttercream icing. Again, another HUGE indulgence so only a few times a year.2 -

Moderate, yes - give up, no!3

Can't give up my latte! One or two a day (nonfat milk and no sugar). But still can't go on with my day without it!0
