How long will fajita veggies last in fridge? Or how can I freeze them?

Hi everyone!

My meal prep this week is chicken fajita bowls (shredded salsa chicken with fajita veggies). The chicken is currently cooking in the crock pot and I am going to be making the veggies shortly.

Will they keep from tonight until Friday in the fridge or do I have to freeze them?

If I do end up freezing them, so I just add extra liquid/oil to the freezer bag? And chicken should not be frozen with the veggies I imagine? Separate baggies?

I have to admit, I have never frozen cooked food before. I have frozen meat and then cooked it, but this whole cooking and then freezing is new and I'm worried I'll mess up somehow.

Thanks in advance!

They will be fine until Friday. A week is my cut off for cooked food in the fridge

I like to eat my foods from the fridge within three or four days of cooking.
You can put everything in the one baggie to freeze. Do not add water -- it won't hurt if you do, but it might change the texture when you are reheating/defrosting.
