If you can't pronounce it, don't eat it?

I can pronounce natto. But sorry, I'm still not eating that *kitten*.
I will, however, eat vichyssoise, clafoutis, and paczki. Just don't expect me to pronounce them correctly2 -
So, if I have a lisp and I can't pronounce spinach,I shouldn't eat it??

The rule sort of makes sense and although a good try, I still eat many things I cannot pronounce.0

Every time someone posts about that "rule" I think about the nuns who drilled phonetics and root words and suffixes and prefixes into me. Thanks to them, I can pronounce almost anything. No wonder I was fat!4
