Less foamy protein shake?

I make a protein shake after my work outs (using a conventional blender)
1 scoop protein
6 oz almond milk
1/2 cup oats
and it always comes out super foamy. Any ideas?

Yes, stop blending it. When you use a blender, it incorporates air which creates the foam/bubbles.

Use a shaker instead if you want to avoid it.

LOL thanks but I used a shaker cup before workout with my protein and doesn't get foamy, but I wanted to know if there was something to add in order to make it not so foamy when blending (:

Place your protein powder in your cup with about 2 oz of milk and shake. Blend the remaining oats and milk until smooth. Combine everything in cup. Consider adding water to either step if to thick.
