15 pounds down

I know I have a long way to go but I'm feeling really good about the progress made this month. Clothes are starting to feel looser and I feel my mommy pouch slowly shrinking. I've been doing primarily cardio but would love to get started with yoga and weight lifting. I'm not 100% sure where to start though. Any suggestions?

You're right where I am right now in terms of weight. I keep gaining and losing the same 15, and I'm trying MIGHTILY to keep going this time, with a heavy schedule (full-time work, grad school, husband and three teenage kids). Friend me if you want an accountability buddy with the same stats!1

Weight training is really beneficial for weight loss process! Try doing that and look up fitness youtubers like Jen Howard who owns her own gym or KaraCorey fitlife who is a dietitian who focuses on weight training. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/maia4.htm3

For yoga I'd recommend Yoga with Adrienne on youtube. She has all kinds programs including a 30 day starter series. Congrats on the loss. It's really noticeable.0

Great job keep it up! You are looking great and I agree it looks like more than 15. I have been on since May 9 and have lost 34lbs. I am so stoked and just want to keep going. MFP has helped me so much to stay on track and more importantly to be aware!1

Your dramatic change in appearance just go to show that cutting calories and exercise are very important in changing your body. Adding weights will help you tone up even more. I love the "body pump" classes at my gym where I work out!0

Goal weight is about between 140-150. It really is going to depend on how it looks as I get closer, how much muscle, body fat ect. I think 150 with muscle is a good goal for me1 -

Hey there, running hurts my shins so I usually do 30 min high resistance on the elliptical and high resistance 30 minutes on the exercise bike, then a really good long stretch afterwards and some abs. That is currently it, which is why I want to change it up. Get into yoga or weight lifting, maybe even both, but baby steps haha.0 -
Your starting point is really similar to mine. I hope I look half this good when I get to where you are! Great work!!0
