How often does everyone weigh themselves? I do it every other day, and I am just curious what everyone else is doing. Thanks!

I try and do it once a week.0

I try and do it only once a week.0

I usually step on the scale every morning on my way into the shower, just for curiosity. But I do my 'official' weigh-in once a week, on Saturday mornings.0
-
Daily- it makes it easier for me to see how things like sodium affect me0

Daily (every morning) but I don't obsess about it. It just helps me stay on track better.0

once a week unless i have a gym assessment:-)0

I weigh myself every Friday morning after I have gotten up but before I have breakfast, I personally find it's better for myself to just do it once a week.0

I do the exact same!0 -
I weigh in every Saturday morning, but I look every once in a while if I'm curious. Most of the time I try to stay off the scale until Saturday.0

Same here.0 -
I weigh daily to keep on track, but I only have one official weigh-in, which is Mondays. That's when I determine how much weight I have officially lost for the week.0
-
I have an "official' weigh in every 2 weeks and use that date to try and achieve personal goals, but I try to weigh myself every other day to track my progress and see just how tomorrow's limits will be.0
-
Once a week.. I started doing it everyday for awhile there and drove myself up a tree with all the fluctuations.
I generally do mine on thursday.0 -
I weigh myself every Friday morning. I might do it in the week to see if I'm progressing (I know I shouldn't but hey). It's nice to see that little red bar move down every week0

I only weigh myself about once a month. I found the scale was affecting my mood too much so I broke the frequent weighing habit last summer. It wasnt as hard as I thought, and I'm much happier now0

everyday with official weigh in on Sunday0

I weigh myself almost every morning but official weigh in on wed.0

I do every morning. It fluctuates but is also very accurate of what kind of day I had the day before. U weigh the same no matter if u weigh yourself or not. To me it's like not checking your bank account because u don't want to see the balance.0

Officially every Saturday....But everyday...Can't help myself :laugh:0

I started on Memorial Day. I weighed myself on 6/29 and plan to weigh again on 8/8. That will be when I've been on MFP for 10 weeks. I'm over sixty and expect to lose pretty slowly, so I'm only weighing in once in awhile and concentrating on my nutrition and exercise. The results will have to take place without me checking on them every day or so.0

This. UGH, my scale stubbornly refuses to move so I try not to obsess about it and just keep on doing what I'm doing. It can't last forever. (can it? :ohwell: )0 -
My goodness. You all sound very sensible. I find i end up weighing myself 3 or 4 times a day but do an "official" one every fortnight on one of those machines that gives you a printout.0

Thursday mornings. I do sneak on the scale a few other days lol0

I weight myself once a day but I know really shouldn't. You're weight varies 3 pounds plus or minus from water weight (completely irrelevant to fat loss and will change the next time you hydrate etc). I used to get emotional before I understood this if I saw that number go up when really I am just had too much sodium. So like most everyone who has posted, I get on the scale once a day out of curiosity but my official weigh in that I record is once a week.0

daily! after I do my business in the bathroom and strip down to my undies or nothing at all. I only log on Fridays.
I like seeing the fluctuations... keeps me accountable...Sodium is the thing I watch out for the most so if I see my weight creep up, I know to keep an eye on it.0 -
I'm embarrassed to admit I'll step on the scale 2x in the morning (you know just to verify the first reading), sometimes when I get home from work (but not always), after any hard workout before I shower(see how much water I sweated off), and every night before I go to bed. I don't keep an official weigh in day. I will just post my weight loss when I have lost more than .5 lbs and kept it off a few days.
That sounds a bit neurotic or obsessive, but I swear I'm not. But then again, if I were, would I realize I am?0 -

Same here. I am a daily morning weigher. I don't stress about the daily fluctuations but if my weight does keep trending upward it will allow me to reconfigure my calorie intake before things get out of control. This will probably especially help when I am maintaining.0 -
Daily after using the bathroom. I found that when I didn't the pounds crept back on. I don't obsess about minor daily flucuations though.0

I step on the scale every other day or so just because I'm curious, but I only record my weight once a week.0

I weigh myself first thing every morning.0
