I had a baby three weeks ago. My step goal was reduced to 5000 steps a day. I want to increase my steps every week. How much would you increase your goal by? 1000? More?

I would wait until your doctor says it's okay to exercise. Your body is still recovering from the birth, so it's best to take it easy.

    I've been cleared for activity.

That's a personal call in my opinion. I would say 500-750 per day until you're comfortable with your step count again would ideal.

I'd say go up 250-500 per day and slowly build up from there.
