I had a baby three weeks ago. My step goal was reduced to 5000 steps a day. I want to increase my steps every week. How much would you increase your goal by? 1000? More?

I would wait until your doctor says it's okay to exercise. Your body is still recovering from the birth, so it's best to take it easy.1

That's a personal call in my opinion. I would say 500-750 per day until you're comfortable with your step count again would ideal.0

I'd say go up 250-500 per day and slowly build up from there.0
