Last July I started eating right and exercising. I've lost 30 lb. The past few months I've absolutely plateaued and have even noticed a little creeping back up the scale! While it still feels like I'm eating right and exercising, I suspect that if I counted calories, I would fnd I'm over indulging.
I live in West Michigan and love the beaches! When I was at my all time low weight a few weeks ago, I bought a two piece bathing suit, a risky deal considering my age (46). I really want to wear that two-piece bathing suit to the beach or pool and need to lose at least 5 lbs. and probably 10 before I subject others to that sight!
So, here I am. On MFP counting calories. I'd love some friends to keep me focused and accountable.
I'd love you to view my food and exercise diaries and help me figure out where I can tweak!

Goddess2B....are you building muscle? Also, your body adjusts over time to your work out and diet, that's why you have to do a variety of workouts and activities (not that I'm great at this...haha.....I'm currently in a rut....) but switch it up every now an then and that should help (unless it's all becoming muscle, in which case...CONGRATULATIONS! Hot mama you!

I live in North Texas....it's hot....I just had a baby 8months ago....while pregnant I hit near 200lbs (When pre pregnancy I was around 108! I have a small bone structure...my dr's never said a WORD!!!! =0 ) I would LOVE to have my rockin bod back..(I'm only 23, and it kinda sucks to have a mom bod so young...sigh...but after being married 4 yrs, it was time for a babythat I LOVE!!!! Well worth it) .though with saggy breasts from feedings and stretch marks....that's a NEVER again...hahaha....but I don't care.....my little girl and husband are my world....but I'd like to take care of myself and be fit and happy because if I'm not happy neither of them are.
I like this website because it is easy to manage....has a simple format....and I can just add calories for my homemade stuff......
I LOVE to cook and bake....and all the things I cook and bake for myself are vegan (post pregnancy I can't keep meats or dairy down, so vegan by force...=P) but I've also lost 55lbs so far......If anyone is interested in recipes I'm open to sharing....also I've taken a few exercise, fitness, and health courses at various universities.I love anything out doors, music, and just having fun!

Thanks, Smile. Yes, I'm building muscle, lifting 10 lb. dumbells in 7 different exercises. I am going out to buy 15 lb. dumbbells today!
For variety, I dance West Coast Swing. I love how I can go out to socialize and still workout a little! Today I'm mowing the grass. in the morning and dancing in the evening!0
