Ads

Okay, so as I am reading posts today and trying to log my food, I have noticed that a large percentage of the ads on MFP are food. WTF? Let's put ads for tempting foods, like oreo fudge ice cream cake (which I see this very moment) on a page where people are trying to make healthy choices for their nutrition and meet fitness goals. Grrrr MFP!

MFP has nothing to do with what shows up. They are based on your internet search history.

Many of the ads I see are related to what I've googled or shopped for recently. I'm currently looking at CrossFit shoes to the side of this post because I searched them on Amazon yesterday.

Have you been searching for sweets?

I'm just kidding. About the sweets. I really do see CF shoes.

    :)

Maybe the recipes trigger food ads...

Honestly, you could go to a webpage about chicken and could say "food" on it somewhere and all of the sudden you will get random food ads. Including stuff like you posted.

Oreo fudge ice cream cake, you say?

I bet you could make some fit into your day. It might not be "easy" to do, and you might not be able to fit as much as you want, but I'd be willing to bet you could do it.
