Need Help

Hey guys, I have a great support group but I wouldn't mind getting more people to keep pushing me forward. I joined almost a year ago and I'm still struggling. I can't seem to keep my butt going. I get to a point and then hit my rest day and not move again for like a month. Granted I'm burning calories when I clean and the world is beginning to see that I'm a neat freak but that's not all..

I've got a fiance who doesn't really want to keep pushing me and I'm starting to gain back. I'm looking for people who aren't afraid to tell me to get off my fat butt and get motivated. If you feel you can help me do this. I ask kindly you friend me and keep me going.

I truly appreciate it. I need the nagging haha. Kindly though.

    I would start by NOT taking a "rest day"...instead of resting go for a 30 minute walk, or do yoga or some other stretching. This way your body still recovers but you get your mind out of the "rest day" gutter.

    The one problem with your comment that I can see is that you are asking for other people to "push" you. This way is nearly a guaranteed way to fail. You need to realize that YOU are the one in control and only you have the power to push yourself.

    It's not about "weight loss", it's about personal empowerment and the realization that you can change anything about yourself you choose. It's about taking control of your own lifestyle, the weight loss really is incidental to that.

    If you need to do it, take just one day at a time. For me, exercise made all the difference at first. Then I threw on healthier eating habits, and things have really taken off (no pun intended).

    It's like Yoda said: "Try not!, DO, or do not. There is no "try" Nobody can push you except yourself, and you CAN do this. =)

    Just get mad at your other personality that says "I'll just take today off, I'm tired" And tell it to shut up and you got a date to keep with your "fit" self. It's like the little devil and angel on your shoulder whispering in your ear. Just pick that angel!!! Another trick I do to myself is when I dont want to do any exercise or eat right, I just remind myself that belly fat causes liver disease, heart disease, diabetes and plus it looks terrible! lol Just message me if you need to rant and rave! I'm a great listener!
