I'm Battling Fatigue ? Natural Remedies?

Often times I wake up after 7-9 hours of sleep, and no matter how much coffee I drink, I'm still yawning and tired. I drink 8 cups of water a day. I've eaten breakfast. I am currently trying new medicines but those are supposed to boost my energy -if anything- but I'm still tired. Anyone have any tips on how to work out when you're just not feeling it? I'm listening to music, trying to slowly move around, got my workout clothes on but just can't get started, I feel like I'll just collapse if I try. Any natural remedies I could try?

What're you eating & how much? Usually when I eat things high in fiber such as beans, fruit, & veg I feel full but not weighted down. Also, exercising will help so if you can get your workout clothes on push yourself to go do something. Tell yourself just 10-15 minutes & if you're still feeling sluggish you can stop.

Alright, I know it's not exactly healthy but it is a good-ish source of protein: I ate breakfast sausage/egg/low fat cheese hot pocket this morning because I was too tired to cook something and I need to eat as soon as I get up or else I'll get sick. I'm in that type of mood where I just wanna curl up and take a nap on my yoga mat lol

    Are you getting restful sleep?

How much coffee are you drinking? A little can help, but too much or drinking it later in the day will interfere with sleep.

How many calories a day are you eating? Most everyone feels tires on too few calories, and many on lower carb diets.

    Have you tried Vitamin B12?

Any medical problems like chronic fatigue?

Have you spoken to a doctor?

Sounds like you're already getting enough sleep and eating enough in the morning, which are the easy things to try at home.

I think it's time to go and see a doctor. Fatigue isn't a problem in itself, it's a symptom of some other problem, so until you find the root cause you won't be able to treat it. Could definitely be a vitamin or mineral deficiency of some kind, only bloodwork would tell you for sure. It might also be a matter of disrupted sleep patterns, where even getting enough sleep in hours isn't giving you good quality sleep. There are a lot of possible things going on and you won't be diagnosed over the internet.

Okay! I accomplished my 30 minute work out in 40 minutes.. But at least I did it. Part of it's definately a medical problem but there's only so much I can do while I'm testing out new prescriptions. And now that I think about it more, it's probably because my cat wakes me up a number of times through the night so that's probably why I'm still tired. Thanks everyone for making me realize what's going on.

Something else to check out. Get tested for Sleep Apnea. Especially if you get sleepy during the day even if you are getting enough sleep.

Attitude towards your life and how you choose to react to it plays a huge part in your energy levels and positivity. You know what they say...'attitude is everything...'

Time to get excited about your life girl! Age is just a number - life is a gift:)

It's possible, but still something to talk to a doctor about. My cat wakes me up at least twice a night because he wants to cuddle and be petted, but while it made me sleepy at first, I've gotten used to it by now and don't experience drowsiness or fatigue because of it.
