So, I pre logged my food today, and it's about 8:30 pm, I've finished dinner, and am no longer hungry, but I've yet to even reach 1200 cals WITH THE logged food. (It's at like 1186 or something, so close) only problem is, I haven't actually finished eating all my food that I logged. Most of it being fruit. What do I do? Eat more, or leave it?

To me, your posting seems to say that you have logged 1200 calories, are 14 calorie short, and most of those calories are from fruit. That not making sense, some clarification is in order.
What is your calorie goal? How much have you eaten? How much short of that calorie goal are you?

The question is ... Are you consistently under eating your cals? Have you set an overly agressive goal and are trying to lose on 1200 cals or so when it is not appropriate given your stats?
If the answer to either of those is yes, then eat more. (Tonight and in general.) Your body needs fuel, and if you don't give yourself enough food to run on, you'll burn out. And it won't be pretty.
BUT ... If this is just one of those days where you're not that hungry, don't sweat it. It happens to me sometimes but I usually end up being hungrier and eating more the next day. No biggie.0 -

Sorry. Didn't mean to be unclear. At this point I've only eaten maybe 1,000 cals today. I didn't have any of the fruit I pre logged though. I'm not feeling hungry right now and know that I have not eaten enough calories for the day. I'm not sure if I should eat more or leave it.kathrynjean_ wrote: »The question is ... If the answer to either of those is yes, then eat something else. Have a spoonful of peanut butter.

No, I'm not consistently under. It's usually hard for me to stay within my calorie goal.

If you're not consistently under, I'd say don't worry about a day of not hitting your goal. You'll probably make up for it later in the week (that's what seems to happen when I have a day under goal, anyway).0 -

The important thing is to try to reach your total calorie goal on a weekly basis. If you're not consistently under, I would not worry about today, just work those calories in tomorrow, or another day, and it will all come out in the wash.
For your logging, if you choose not to eat the fruit today, more it to tomorrow or the day you will eat it so your logging is accurate.

Yeah, usually I'm pretty close to my 1500 goal. I guess I'm just not very hungry today. Thanks for the advice! I won't sweat it then Maybe I'll have a midnight snack later.0
