If you're willing to open up your food diary so others can see what you're eating, you'll probably get some actionable feedback pretty quickly.

Also -- feel free to friend me if you like. We're the same age! :)

On the days you don't already exercise, try doing something else. Maybe walk around the block a few times. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water (and logging it) and eat at least 1200 net calories. Your food diary is closed so I can't give much more advice about your food.

Good luck & hope it gets better!

you body tends to get use to routines. I suggest circuits that incorporate weights and cardio. Maybe working out 5x's a week instead of just 3. Do you have a HRM? are you getting the right amount of calories burned on your workouts. Your diary does it show if your meals are high in sugar or carbs? Have you thought about seeing a nutritionist or trainer at your gym?

for how long have you been sticking with your goals and exercising and not losing weight (and by sticking with it i mean at least 6 days a week)? a couple of weeks or a couple of months? if you have truly been following the guidelines and getting no results for several months, talk to your doctor. there could be a reason you aren't losing weight (thyroid, etc.).

if it has only been a couple of weeks, have patience and stick with it, your body will respond. make sure to drink 8 glasses of water a day. it really does make a difference. also, try ramping up your exercise to 5-6 days a week instead of 2-3. moving your body every day really helps.

Thanks for all the advice, going to start with upping exercise to 5 times a week and drinking more water, something I don't but should do.

Strength training. Doesn't have to be heavy weights; just 3-5 lbs.

Finally gave in after 2 weeks of agony & went to dr's about knee, I have 'distressed' cartlidge & ligaments, so 1st have to rest untill feel ready to walk, does that mean I have to hop eveywhere:) then up the pace to walk, jog, walk etc.which is what i've done today, gone back to square one with my couch to 5k app. jog 60 seconds walk 90 seconds for 20 minutes. the knee was starting to twinge at the end but stamina wise I was fine so lets hope this is me back on the way to fitness.
  • Not all calories are equal. Look at your food log and see if you are eating anything that might not be helping your efforts.

I know the feeling of being frustrated.... Just don't give up!
