Should I count coffee as part of my daily water intake? I counted the calories from it but I didn't know if I should add it to water count too?

Some people count all fluid intake as water, some count only pure water, others fall at points between. You'll just have to decide for yourself.

Yes coffee counts as part of your water. So does fruit/veggies or other foods you eat that contain water, beverages like tea, sport drinks, regular water, juice, etc.

I don't count the water in my coffee as it is dehydrating. I actually try to add another glass of water to drink for every cup of coffee I drink so I stay hydrated

I count all fluid intake as water. Because it mostly is. Coffee is not all *that* dehydrating, it's not like alcohol.

Flavored water is still water. Coffee is nothing more than flavored water.

Coffee is no more of a diuretic than plain water. Whether you count it or not, your body does.

I don't "count" my water, but sure coffee is just water mixed with coffee beans.

8 Oz of coffee is still 8 Oz of liquid. Coffee isn't that dehydrating. I don't really track my water intake. As long as my urine is clear and I'm not dehydrated I don't worry about it. But if I did I would include coffee, soups and fruits.

The dehydration is too small comparing to the amount of water in coffee.

Coffee is mostly water, so ya, I consider it water.
