Ziploc Steamer Bags0

I am in love with my George Forman Grill. I have 2 infact. The small one by brother bought me for Christmas and a medium one I bought on clearance. I use the big one for my meat and the little one for my veggies and fruit. I don't know what I would do without them.
I also love the ziplock steamer bags. You can cook an entire meal in less than 10 minutes if you are on a time crunch. I especially love it for my seafood.0 -
Garlic mincer!
I also love my mom's two-hundred-dollar cast iron skillet. I like slinging it around and calling myself the Diamond Chef. I am not ashamed.0 -

Hmmm, how do you keep the chicken from getting rubbery and dry on the foreman grill?
And, how do you cook veggies on them?

Stop cooking it sooner. It takes way less time to cook chicken on a george forman grill than anywhere else.
As for veggies, cut them thick enough that they touch both sides of the grill when it's closed, brush with a bit of olive oil and season as you like.
I love my cast iron skillets. My MIL passed them down to me and they were passed down to her from someone else in her family. They're awesome. Talk about non-stick!0 -
im really new to cooking anything that doesnt come from a box so i like all the ideas and im sure this is a stupid question but what is a wok? and what do u cook with it?0

My Vitamix: Love it for green smoothies but use it for other things as well.
My Shun Knives: Oh how wonderful it is to have a set of REALLY good knives in the kitchen! My DH bought them for me for Christmas and I sing his praises every time I use them! I had two before but now I have a full set and nothing is safe from being sliced and diced!
My Cast Iron Skillets: I have a full array and only use Cast Iron or Stainless steel. I love them!
Kitchen Scale: Imperative not only for weight loss but also for cooking!
My Bosch Mixer: Couldn't do my cake baking and decorating without it! Not to mention the bread baking.
My Flour Mill: grind up all my own flour to make truly whole grain items
I have lots of kitchen toys because I love to cook and bake but those are the top items for me.0 -
I second the Ziploc steamer bags! SO easy.0

A wok is very versatile, you can stir fry in it, make sauces and soups, I love mine for hot & sour soup. Any dish you prepare that can be done in one pan, can be done in a wok. Invest in a good one, stainless, or non-stick (but never use metal utensils) and you'll have it for years.0 -
Oster vegetable steamer.
It comes with 3 tubs, steams vegis beautifuly, and also does hard boiled eggs, which peel in one piece. Farm fresh eggs are almost impossible to peel boiled because the membranes aren't old enough to have started to break down, so steaming them keeps more moisture in the egg, between the white and the membrane, making the shell just slide off...0 -

Wow, never heard of this but it sounds like something I'd use every day.
Edit: Bleh, never mind. Looks like they are made with BPA-ridden plastic. I think I will try boiling eggs in my mom's regular pot steamer though. Thanks for posting0
