What's your number one food craving?

I still crave Starburst jelly beans, though I stopped eating them long ago. And they are one in a list of foods that I don't necessarily crave but that I can't stop eating once I start. Pretty much anything in the carb/fat/salt world qualifies. Chips or Fritos with Lipton Onion Dip...made worse if it's at cocktail hour and I've had a drink...I'm also of the "substitutes don't cut it" school - they have calories, too, and they don't feed the craving (which isn't usually hunger based).
There is no substitute for those Starburst Jelly Beans...;)2 -
Chips and salt! Favorite is Dill Pickle chips ... then Ruffles, then Lays, Lays Wavey, Doritos, Tostitos ... and yeah, it goes on and on.0
-
Cheez its. Once I got high and ate an entire box. I don't buy them because I have no self control. I have air popped popcorn when I'm feeling snacky.2
-
Cake/brownies - these I just try to limit as best I can but I don't substitute. The less I eat them, the easier it is to say "no". Also... pizza... love it and make room for it in my calories probably every week.1
-
chips- I mean real potatoe chips- but I make do- with baked chips or good thin crackers which are pretty good1
-
French Fries or chips. I usually don't substitute I just fit them in my calories for the day. Luckily I don't crave them too often, and a lot of the time when I do I am too lazy to actually go out and get them. But if I can get someone to bring me some when I am lazy I just fit them in.1

Potato Chips!! Lays Lightly Salted Chips-- I work them into my calorie allowance. No substitute:)2
-
Ice cream!!2
-
Anything with potatoes, cheese or bread.
All three together? A foodgasm.4 -
Pizza. I can't stop at one slice or two....I used to give in the craving but now the sodium in it makes me blow up like a balloon the next day. I don't really have anything in my everyday eating with that much sodium in it and my body says "yikes! What did you do?" So now I find I just don't eat it.
I have English muffins with tomatoes, basil and mozzarella now. Lots of delicious mozzerrella!3 -
Oh and also
CHEESE LOVERS UNITE!1 -
I crave so many things at different times I'm just trying to be better about making sound choices. Like today I've been absolutely dreaming about gummy worms so I worked them into my calories for the day. Now my craving has been satisfied and I don't feel like I have ruined my diet.2
-
Cake! Seriously Love cake and frosting, cake and buttercream icing!3
-
Chinese.
Been making homemade fried rice which satisfies the craving.1 -
Cucumber with lemon and hot sauce.1
-
Potato salad but particularly this baked potato salad my sister in law makes. I could eat a days worth of calories in one sitting of potato salad.2
-
Hot cheetos, lime hot cheetos and extra hot hot cheetos, I blackout and when I come to I have red fingers and crumbs all over my couch, idk what happens...1
-
Pizza2
-
I could use a glazed donut right about now.1

Bread ... and so ... I eat bread.
Hardly ever ate bread before joining MFP last year. Now I eat it every day.1 -
Pizza-but I don't substitute anything. If I want it, I eat it, and work it into my daily calorie allotment.
I do make better choices (for me) now. We have grown to really like veggie pizza, and don't even miss the meat.2 -
The only thing I really crave is sweet. If I don't have a Hershey bar every day, I feel pretty crappy. Sometimes I will take a glucose tablet and it makes me feel normal again. Sometimes just having a few peanut M&Ms will get rid of the cravings. I mean like 5, not an entire bag.1
-
I do miss a huge portion of chip shop chips, large carton curry, rice
Typical British bloke!1 -
Lobster. No substitute, and none needed.1
-
Chocolate. As is chocolate bars, m&m candies, chocolate chip cookies, etc. I cannot have those in the house at all! My substitution I guess would be my protein powders. It's a way to kind of have the chocolate taste while still being healthy0
-
My number one craving is chocolate chip cookies and there are no substitutes! I try to not even make them because there is also no self-control when they're around. Others are french fries (I recently started making sweet potato fries and if they're crunchy enough, I love them!) and ranch dressing (I started using Bolthouse Farms and can't tell a difference).1
-
Popcorn - which is bad for me due to carbs (health reasons).0
-
CHOCOLATE!! If it's mixed with peanut butter, I'm a goner.1
-
Cheese, Sour Cream, Ranch Dressing, pretty much anything dairy.
I use Greek Yogurt in place of sour cream, but everything else I pretty much just have to live without it or use a small quantity. Everyone has a reason they got fat, mine is cheese/dairy.
I have been eating a lot of the Boathouse Farms yogurt-based dressings - they're usually 40 cals/serving. The roasted garlic one has all but replaced ranch for me!0 -
My mom's pasta and wine. No substitution since I have it about once a week, but having less wine I suppose is the compromise0
