I crave so many things at different times I'm just trying to be better about making sound choices. Like today I've been absolutely dreaming about gummy worms so I worked them into my calories for the day. Now my craving has been satisfied and I don't feel like I have ruined my diet.

Potato salad but particularly this baked potato salad my sister in law makes. I could eat a days worth of calories in one sitting of potato salad.

What's your food cravings and what do you use as a substitute?

Bread ... and so ... I eat bread.

Hardly ever ate bread before joining MFP last year. Now I eat it every day.

Pizza-but I don't substitute anything. If I want it, I eat it, and work it into my daily calorie allotment.
I do make better choices (for me) now. We have grown to really like veggie pizza, and don't even miss the meat.

The only thing I really crave is sweet. If I don't have a Hershey bar every day, I feel pretty crappy. Sometimes I will take a glucose tablet and it makes me feel normal again. Sometimes just having a few peanut M&Ms will get rid of the cravings. I mean like 5, not an entire bag.

Chocolate. As is chocolate bars, m&m candies, chocolate chip cookies, etc. I cannot have those in the house at all! My substitution I guess would be my protein powders. It's a way to kind of have the chocolate taste while still being healthy :D

My number one craving is chocolate chip cookies and there are no substitutes! I try to not even make them because there is also no self-control when they're around. Others are french fries (I recently started making sweet potato fries and if they're crunchy enough, I love them!) and ranch dressing (I started using Bolthouse Farms and can't tell a difference).

Cheese, Sour Cream, Ranch Dressing, pretty much anything dairy.

I use Greek Yogurt in place of sour cream, but everything else I pretty much just have to live without it or use a small quantity. Everyone has a reason they got fat, mine is cheese/dairy.

I have been eating a lot of the Boathouse Farms yogurt-based dressings - they're usually 40 cals/serving. The roasted garlic one has all but replaced ranch for me!

My mom's pasta and wine. No substitution since I have it about once a week, but having less wine I suppose is the compromise
