What are some unique fun exercises?

I want to build a home gym. But I don't want the usual stuffs. I want something unique.
Here are my current ideas.
*Swimming pool (what is a minimum length to have a swimming workout)
*All major gym equipments (treadmills and stuffs)
*Calisthenics bars and stuffs
*Boxing bag
*Rope climbing and Rope related exercises
*Wall climbing
*Wall tennis
*Basketball hoop
So what more can I include.

We have a swimming tether for our pool, so you don't need much length at all. We had a look at the jets that people install but if you're not a strong swimmer to begin with, they can spin you around and just generally be frustrating.

    • hula hoop
    • jump rope
    • batting cage
    • active video games like a Wii
    • ping pong
    • trampoline
    • wide, stretchy, hammock-like contraption suspended from two points for aerial yoga as shown below. Very popular with men & women here in nyc. SPORTS_stretch%20restorative-AntiGravity_aerial_yoga_fitness_health_Balgowlah_sydney_northern_beaches_Manly_.jpg

    After more research
Swimming pool = 25 yards minimum. I have the area to build more than 30 yards though but the cost is high.
Wall tennis takes too much of an area.
    So what's left
    Fun
    1. Boxing bag
    2. Rope climbing and Rope shaking
    3. Wall climbing
    4. Basketball hoop
    5. Trampoline
Boring but must to have in the home gym
    1. Treadmills and major gym equipments.
    2. Calisthenics bars.

Thanks for the ideas. Trampoline is added to the list.

Rather than wall tennis, I'd recommend building a squash court. I've spent many an hour playing with myself. Let me rephrase that. I've burnt a load of cals just practising inside a squash court aiming at targets (marks) for instance, or practising tennis serves inside a squash court.

As well as a climbing wall, after maybe a year (time to get your ligaments and tendons strong) I'd also build a campus board: https://youtu.be/L861czXKGaI

Wall tennis takes too much space and squash too.

    Fun
    1. Boxing bag
    2. Kung fu dummy
    3. Rope climbing and Rope shaking
    4. Wall climbing
    5. Basketball hoop
    6. Trampoline
Boring but must to have in the home gym

That's what's finale as of now. Need more fun but manly stuffs.
Boxing bag and kung fu dummy is my favourite. Is there things more similar to these two.
    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qfvdhWWGCHA

You need a cheese mat :)

    PSB-244-2.jpg?1444658272

You can learn back walk overs, wall walks, back handsprings, arials, back flips, bridges, and so so much more with one.

Thanks man. That obstacle course looks amazing. Outdoor space is very little. A swimming pool should go there in future. Have to build the obstacle course above the pool.

that's why it's a mat. it's soft and squishy and designed to make doing those fun things... not dangerous.

How about break dancing? You add nothing but a cardboard box, and a ghetto blaster. Old School.

Sandbags, great workout. The shifty nature of a huge bag of sand forces you to balance throughout the exercise. You can find fancy, expensive ones, or just use duct tape to reinforce a 50# bag of play sand from toys r us.

Very small swimming pool is all you need. Add a motor and current to swim against.
