aminocore something something is what i'm working my way slowly through.

i take them mostly when i have reason to be scared of the aftermath on a specific workout. otherwise they seem a bit overkill for my needs.

i have definitely had workouts where by all rights i should have been sore for a few days afterwards, but i woke up feeling only mildly tender if that. i do attribute that to taking an dose of bcaa's once i got home. just drinking the stuff all day long doesn't seem like it does much for me.

there's also the fact that it (my brand anyway) smells like a.r.s.e. it actually tastes pretty good, but there's this definite tomcatty kind of aura to it. it's kind of like the way vitamin pills have a smell, only this one's more rank.

dk if it's only my brand (but i don't think so). i do know i got used to the taste and even like it once it's actually mixed, but in the meantime it's still stinky enough i was keeping my workplace tub in the freezer and not on my desk.

I do.. I don't think it does a darn thing for me.. LOL I bought into hype quite a while ago, being a 48 year old female and lifting and doing alot of endurance exercise, I thought I might have a very slight edge in something that could potentially help me.. I notice nothing.. does not mean it does not do anything..

I still have a good bit left over from buying a bunch in bulk, and truthfully I have ordered my last.

If you consume sufficient protein they are probably no better than a placebo

I use Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy. I buy mine from iherb. Free shipping and the cheapest I have found it. I drink mine intra-workout. I have found it to decrease my recovery time.
