Lost 150 pounds but still look fat in front of the mirror

Hi I lost a lot of weight , went from 350 to 200 my scale says that I'm 27 percent body fat and when I see myself in the mirror I still think that I look fat
If I wear a shirt it's either too tight or too loose I'm like a 36 waist I have loose skin from weight loss I don't know if I should keep losing weight or do something else I'm 6 feet tall

Congratulations on your fantastic accomplishment! You have every reason to be proud of yourself. Maybe you should think about weight lifting/toning instead of losing more weight right now?

It sounds like you're experiencing what's commonly referred to as "skinny fat". You've lost a lot of weight, but your body fat percentage is still relatively high due to your body indiscriminately using both fat and muscle to fuel the loss.

As Arapacana1 said, the best course of action for you now is probably to start a lifting program. Since you're already near an ideal weight for your height, you don't have too much more room to "cut" (diet while lifting), but you could get good results from either "bulking" (eating slightly above maintenance while lifting, thereby adding mostly muscle and a small amount of fat), or recomposition (eating at maintenance while lifting, causing a slow, slow shedding of extra fat).

Either of those will ultimately get you a leaner look, it's just up to you which course you prefer. Have a look around this thread if you need help figuring out where to start. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10332083/which-lifting-program-is-the-best-for-you/p1

Good luck, and congrats on making it this far.

It's also possible that your brain hasn't caught up to your body yet, and you're not seeing the current version of you . Do you have the same issue if you look at photos? I find I can see myself more accurately in photos than the mirror. It's just a weird psychological thing.
