Here's a couple of my crochet projects. The first was a baby blanket I made for a friend's son, and the second was a scarf that I made for another friend (I'm very fond of making scarves lol)
I also at one point made some Christmas ornaments for an ex, but I'm very proud of them so i'll show them here. I painted the designs on these by hand. For those that don't know, these are symbols from the Legend of Zelda video game series.
You make it look so easy. It is not!0 -

Birthday cake for the boy
Star wars themed treats for a friend
Fourth of July cookies for some visitors we had this summer
Hey Synchkat,
I think we argued on another thread, but I appreciate your contribution to the crafting thread. Anyone willing to go to the trouble of making a tasty Minecraft themed cake for their kid is somebody special. Kudos for your mommy and cake baking skills!0 -
I do a mix of things, mostly based around the ocean and beach finds.

No...I cut the vinyl, painted over it, and then peeled it off.

haha did we really?
the Minecraft fondant was super easy since it's squares. The kids were super impressed with the Ender Dragon, the kids were all happy to have black mouths after eating him
I've also made him a couple of Angry Birds cakes and Mario cupcake toppers. One year i made a big cookie sword out of squares so they could just pick it up and drop it and it broke into cookies.
the marbling I just look up stuff on youtube or google images. I am a very visual learner so I just watch things and can figure it out.2 -

You won, lol! Are you one of those that know how to make soap and grind wheat?0 -
Made this for my fitbit (not the totally finished version but I didn't get a picture of that apparently). It was great until the fitbit stopped working.4 -
I design and make t-shirts. My favorite part is designing. I also quilt, sew and do machine embroidery. Love creating.

Who wants to knit me a sweater or a square end tie?
ChristinBuss could probably spin and dye the yarn to your specifications and then knit one for you in a stylized pattern to fit your specialized collar.1 -

Well, it's taken a lot of practice, and some experimenting. All the women in my family can crochet, knit, and/or sew. I can't knit or sew; I haven't tried knitting, and my attempts at sewing are always a disaster lol. Both my grandma and great grandma tried to teach me to crochet when I was younger, and basically gave up on me as a lost cause lol. I taught myself a few years back with the use of youtube videos and a lot of frustration.1 -
