Struggle bus

I'm having a hell of a time motivating myself until I'm already at the point of sadness... I don't know how to get started before then. Any suggestions?

Be disciplined about it. Treat it like you would putting on clothes each morning.

    ^^ This.

Motivation comes and goes. Doing what is best whether you feel like it or not is discipline.

I'm right there with you. I know I'm in a kind of a negative spiral righ now....and I just get frozen in place. But I know why, there are some elements in my life causing this and I'm working to get out of them/change them....that's my advise ...if you think k there is an element in your life that is the source of some of the nonmotivation/depression think through what you can do to change that situation. And be diligient.

make it habitual. It won't require motivation, it will simply be a part of every day life.

I'm in this exact same place. Stress and some life struggles have taken my fire. Anyone who is in this same situation feel free to add me. I'm trying to post more but even doing that is hard...

One thing that really helps me stay motivated is keeping a fitness motivation and quotes board on Pinterest. When I need a little pep I can turn to it and to stay consistent I look at new quotes daily.

I needed to find this board and read everyone's response. I've found myself not caring lately...

I agree. Motivation comes and goes but discipline is what helps me. I literally make myself pack my lunch and make a solid choice as to what to eat or not eat. Am I perfect always? No, but that's okay. As a matter of fact, I've fell "off the wagon" quite a few times. I'm human. If you slip up, don't quit. Decide on how to recover and put it into action. You've got this!
