Amazing transformation for a year. You are awesome1

That is such an awesome story! I love how you listened to your body's urge to run, how cool is that?!1

Somebody please pick my jaw up off the floor. That's incredible. I love that you just had the sudden urge to run and followed your instincts. I think it's all about finding an activity that makes you feel good. I always wanted to enjoy running but it just makes me feel more drained. I've given it up for power lifting which gives me a smile like the one in your after picture. Great work!3

A calorie deficit will give you weight loss, but yes, running anywhere helps you earn more calories to eat while maintaining a total deficit.

Some people have no problem treadmill running. They can put on their favourite music, or watch a program while doing it, and don't get bored.
Others, like me, love running outdoors. I love taking photos of scenery, plants, etc, while I'm out and about. I get great pleasure from that, on top of the amazing feeling of running. I don't run with music, I like to have time to think or zone out.
Each to their own, it's all good.
You also may need to use the treadmill if your weather is extreme. I live in a mild climate, so I haven't needed to use a treadmill.
Good luck!0 -
