My goals are currently set to 50% carbs; 30% proteins and 20% fats. But that seems high to me for carbs. What is everyone else set at?

My carbs fluctuate around 50-60% of my daily calories and I've lost over 100 lbs in the last 14 months. Nothing wrong with carbs if you want carbs and they keep you full. Some people stay full longer with protein and/or fat. I prefer carbs.1

It depends.. Do you like carbs? Do you feel better eating higher carb?
It comes down to the right balance for you, performance in your daily activities and exercise if you exercise. Think of it this way, how do you best fuel your day and feel your best?0 -
Sounds perfect- that's a pretty standard ratio for the athletically inclined- and more carbs, generally, is more energy. And I'm with @Wynterbourne: carbs are way more satiating for me than fats/proteins so mine tend to be higher- pretty close to yours give or take 3-5%. But that's neither here nor there as this is about YOU.
If you're at calories for deficit, the carb ratio isn't a big deal unless you personally via energy levels and ability to eat them... have an issue with it.0 -
Mine is about 45% as long as you are getting a decent protein intake then no problems with high carbs!0

I tend to lean more toward protein, I eat more meats and protein shakes, I'm not a bread person. I just didn't know if I should alter my percentages myself.0 -
I have mine set to 50% carb/25% fats/25% protein. The only one I try to strictly enforce is the protein, as that 25% fits in with the suggested [0.8 x ideal body weight] formula to maintain muscle mass. For fats and carbs I juggle around the percentages a little to fit my caloric limits.0

Wow Dano74. It makes me happy to see someone that is in such great shape saying they eat 50% carbs, as I do. Assuming that is you in your photo, I'll keep eating my carbs since they're the only thing that makes me feel satisfied and full.

That's me- so intense. So dramatic.
But yeah. Carbs are so great. So. Great. And totally not fattening.
Another benefit I've seen... energy levels 100% on point. No crashes.1 -
I want to gain a lot of muscle so I decreased my fat and increased my protein percentage.0
