Saw the Cramps when I was a teenager. That was the first album I ever bought, Bad Music for Bad People. I'm much more eclectic now but wow that stuff was so amazing live.

kxbrown, GBH were playing a concert where I was living when i was 18 and no kidding I was getting frisked by a cop, up against a wall, when the band walked by, and they were yelling *kitten* at the cop. It was the most punk rockest moment of my entire life, hands down. Just incredible timing, so funny.

    Ah, youth!

I love The Cramps, I really wish I would have been able to see them before Lux passed away.

Sex Pistols, Stooges, Dead Boys, Germs.
Is Sonic Youth considered punk or no-wave?
A lot more I can't think of now... you gobsmacked punks are pressuring me!
And, grunge that followed was awesome, maybe cuz I lived in Seattle at the time it began & could get away with washing my bleached out tangled mane every other day.

Everything I like is punk-driven, be it the Dead Boys, the Cramps, UK Subs or Hanoi Rocks, or the psychobilly bands I love like Mad Sin and Graveyard Johnnys.
