Challenge completed! Three 8 km obstacle races, ~50 obstacles, with each result better than the last. Now I am a XMAN triple Crown survivor!!!
Now I'm wondering if I should do it again next summer... decisions, decisions...

That's fantastic!2 -
My two pair of pants don't fit anymore! It's so frustrating that I can't keep a piece of clothing for more than 2 months! Luckily it's legging weather and I'm going to live in them until I stop shrinking19

Had to retire a shirt this week because it was starting to get too big on me. At my highest weight it was a little form fitting and now it is getting in the way, especially the sleeves.18

I have logged for 70 days and come here every day for inspiration to keep on track.26

Yesterday was a great day, i was able to buckle up in my car without a seat belt extender, and there was even some slack left. guess i should have tried it a while ago and i even had 2 fingers of clearance between me and the steering wheel, i had noticed a month ago that it was no longer touching me. Next thing i know i'll be able to say the same thing about the wife's car.... but that might take a few more months.28

Ordered some clothes that got home yesterday I've always ordered a size M in blouses to my surprise they are starting to look too big.
I also took a picture while wearing one of the blouses to see if it looked better tucked in or out and did not recognize my body in the picture, what the picture says I look like and what my head says I look like are two different people. Made my heart smile22 -
retired 2 pair of dress pants. Baggy in the bottom and waist.20

Dress pants do go the fastest. I have replaced more dress pants in my wardrobe than anything else.7 -

Monday, I fit into XL scrub pants( I usually wear a 2x. I did notice my 2x scrubs were getting really baggy but never thought I'd actually fit into XL) ! Never thought this day would come40

Jeans I outgrew over a year ago fit again.25

I mean it's not much, but when cleaning the wardrobe I've found jeans that I had to put aside early this year as they were way too tight giving me a pleasant muffin top :-) Now they fit just right, it has made my day!
Also, I've noticed that since I've started preparing food for lunches I've discovered new variety of taste, especially in vegetable region - like artichokes, or legume.25 -
Was able to wear a bra today that hasn't fit in 2-3 years. And it fits perfectly now. It's technically the same "size" as my old ones but the brand runs small so it never fit right. Not sure why I never threw it out but I'm glad because that saves me some money. I noticed my regular bra getting too lose at the top of the cups so I decided to try this one out and was surprised when I fit. The band is a little tight but not enough to make it uncomfortable.24

I hate buying clothes so I put it off. I bought pants in August that were 6 inches smaller in waist than I bought back in January when I started losing weight. I was getting comments about pants being too big and yes they were too big. I just bought another pair of pants that are 4 inches smaller than the pair i bought in August. I look pretty damned good if I do say so myself...still a ways to go28

I have the same issue. I am rediscovering nylons and A-line skirts and Dresses. I am only 5'2" so pants that can be hemmed are an issue with today's style of wide legs. I guess I will be buying some dress boots.8 -
I don't come to this thread every day but I catch up occasionally by my bookmark and I'm always so thrilled and excited for all these awesome victories. It really makes my heart smile. And I really love that people celebrate with acknowledgements (insightful, inspiring, like, awesome). I noticed on a lot of threads no one really does that and what a shame. It feels like people are just talking to themselves or something.
My own NSV is that my friend, who sees me often, is saying, "Wow, I can really see a big difference!" People who see you frequently don't notice as much as those you don't see much, but the change is big enough that she sees it.36 -
On Sept 24, I completed the Spartan Beast and got my very first trifecta at age 51! So proud that was able to complete all 3 and loved it.

I SO agree. It's refreshing and uplifting to have a thread filled with such positivity, both from posters and readers.
