Plateaus are rough, usually when I hit one, I mix up both my workout routine and my diet for a short period of time. So if you are just using a calorie deficit, maybe when you hit a plateau, throw in a few low carb days with some HIT cardio to confuse your metabolism. Then once you make some progress again go back to your previous diet.
I also make sure that I am always making progress in my workouts or making them challenging, so I don't become accustomed to doing the same thing every day, so maybe add an extra set, increase lifting weight, add on another 5-10 minutes of cardio, try different exercises.
