35 kilos (about 74 pounds) and found I can run. Soon to turn 50 yo, and have achieved a sub 29 minute 5 km twice and a sub 59 minute 10 km once. Running another 10 km this weekend in the Melbourne Marathon Festival and hoping for a sub 58 minute time. Also training for my first half marathon TBA
Not bad for someone whose only exercise use to be going to the fridge to eat or to the lounge to watch TV.
Running also helps regulate my appetite, so that is a huge bonus since I am a quantity eater.9 -
25 kg (55 lbs) ... back to normal.4

I've lost 40 pounds since January, putting me at a healthy BMI (Juuuust, but i'll take it). I've also done so while fighting piriformis syndrome. What I've gained is immeasurable. I have been feeling so much better. I'm more clear and focused mentally. I've also quit smoking weed, which was a 15 year habit (it hinders my weight loss and fitness goals). I'm also feeling more confident than I have in probably my entire life, maybe even overly so, but its part of the process so I'm embracing it

I've lost almost 45lbs and I can now run without gasping for breath, I'm working on c210k right now. I can do a proper push up which I would have never dreamed of before and circuit train several times weekly. I'm working out daily and actually enjoy it and I'm staying under my calories daily....I sleep better, have less anxiety, get sick less, have no more migraines, better blood pressure and heart rate. Basically, my quality of life is so much better!2

What have I lost? 70 pounds since July 12th.
What have I gained? I have also been hitting the gym and have gained muscle. I feel much better and have more energy. I have noticed that my wife's smile is a little bigger. My snoring has gotten much better. I have also gained a bunch of clothes that no longer fit.3 -
I quit smoking in January and started working out. I have lost a total of 38 lbs and run 6 to 8 miles 4 or 5 times a week. I have gained so many health benefits both physical and mental. I went from being a couch potato to an almost every day gym guy. I actually look and feel better than I did when I was 20 !!4
