I had this the other day:

Homemade yellow cake with cool whip encircled by a homemade white chocolate cake wrap, topped with fresh fruit, and a homemade candle holder made of a white chocolate crown with a homemade marshmallow fondant backing.

This looks like they just wanted to get rid of the stuff from their pantry/freezer and put it on Rice Krispies hoping it would look fancy.

You are the Simon Cowell of desserts. It truly is a gift for you.

Not much of a sweet tooth here...

Agreed! But man...every now and then...

    2opnxshod8xx.jpg

Creme Brulee is about as crazy as I get on the desert front...

    How-to-Make-Creme-Brulee.jpg

I like custard type stuff, but I really don't have much of a sweet tooth. I do usually enjoy just a bit of dark chocolate after dinner though...but yeah...never been a big fan of the super deserts...

Ooo...cream brulee is good too...but that might be a mixed up pic...that looks more like Flan which is like custard with a coffee/espresso syrup on the bottom of the dish, then you flip it over on the plate and serve...like so (and if you've never had it, might be right up your alley):

Ah, yes...I've had flan...it's a pretty typical desert at most of the New Mexican restaurants here in ABQ and Santa Fe.

    Gourmet milkshakes

Bottom one on right is mine *drool*

This doesn't even qualify as food. That is a gluttous binge of slop. I saw them making one of these milkshakes on tv. Dumping a caramel apple into heath bar ice cream and oozing the mess down the glass on purpose then have these size 0 talk show hosts act like they actually eat that without a side of ex-lax is just ...no.

I can't - this is worse than bacon on ice cream. Officially in a rant over a dessert. At least tell me what the point of oozing the topping down the side of the glass is. Because I don't understand this.

    Woah settle petal :*
This is what the OP said ...
"Post pictures of amazing desserts that you know it would be better not to eat (meaning it would throw off your calories for the day or something) but would want to eat."

Soooo ..Im saying "I" find in particular the bottom right caramel concoction something "I" would want to eat. Yeah I know they are milkshakes but I consider them desserts with all the extras..just my opinion of course.

So in keeping with the thread..show us "your"dessert..something you'd like.

Btw ..Im with you on the bacon on ice cream ..oh and there is no point in oozing the topping down the side ..it just is !!

Those milkshakes look very tasty to me...

This is one of my favorite desserts ever - creme brulee in a graham cracker crust from a local restaurant here.

Third one is 'Paris Brest'. It's basically puff pastry and praline cream. Not that hard to make except you can't find packaged praline easily in the US.

Those bee cakes things are so tasty too though!
