I've had Ezekiel bread and it just seems way too overpriced and overhyped, considering the ones I've had are crumbly and not overly flavorful. If I really want bread (which is rare), I'm a King''s Hawaiian girl myself.0

It's all natural and you can get it at whole foods, trader joes and the like.0

I'd rather make my own bread, that stuff looks like bird seed in a bag.0

It's not my favorite either. lol I buy it also and it sits in the freezer. I do however know that if I want ANY carbs.. (bread) I will also have to eat this LOL I'll choke it down with you girlHmmcglothl wrote: »I've tried numerous times to choke it down. I find it disgusting. It's very healthy though. Every time I buy it it goes to waste.

Why is this the only kind of bread that you can eat?0 -
Also why do carbs=bread? That is confusing, as obviously carbs are in lots and lots of other foods.0

I love the stuff. Costco sells it cheap.0

It contains sprouted live grains and delivers quality nutrition. I love plain toasted with spread avocado and drizzled honey, perfect energy food and helps with a sweet craving. Toasted raisin cinnamon is good to with coconut oil or ghee. Frozen section natural or health store...0

Ezekiel bread refers to a type of sandwich bread containing completely no flour. Its ingredients include four beans and four grains. The key ingredients include barley, wheat, millet, pinto beans, kidney beans, rye or spelt and lentils. This distinctive ingredient combination provides several health benefits to the body. They are high in dietary fiber, and have no trans fat, or cholesterol.
Ezekiel bread contains sprouted grains; these breads are significantly higher in protein, vitamins and enzymes, and the complex starches are converted into natural sugars. They are also low GI, so they are digested more slowly by the body, keeping the blood sugar levels stable for longer, making people feel more satisfied. This leads to snacking less.:)

Do the enzymes found in sprouted grains survive the baking and subsequent freezing, defrosting and sometimes reheating of the product?
