Insanity logging

edited December 2024 in Fitness and Exercise
Hi I'm looking to start the Insanity workout in December and I was wondering if anyone has had any luck logging their insanity workouts or do I have to log each individual workout separately? I.e 25 jumping jacks, 15 squats, etc.

I usually log this type of workout as Circuit Training under Cardio.

    Enjoy your workouts!

There are some calculators online where you can get more accurate numbers and more targeted toward insanity. Definitely would advise to invest in some sort of heart rate monitor too.

I didn't do Insanity, but I did P90X3. I used a Heart Rate Monitor for my calorie burns. It's not 100% accurate, but it's better than nothing.

I just purchased a fitbit so I guess I will gauge my calories burned by that. Curious to see what that will look like.

fitbit measures steps; if you want other activities like pullups or situps, you have to log it either here or in your fitbit dashboard.
