Clothing brands.. which are your 'go to' favourites?

So, I'm intrigued!
Everybody's fashion sense is different!
What brands or stores do you generally go to?
I'll fully admit to being a little vein with my shopping, I absolutely hate baggy stuff too so - it kinda limits the shops I go to!
The brands I usually go to-
Superdry (usually for jeans and workout gear)
Under armour - 80% of my workout stuff!
Ralph Lauren - if I'm trying to dress to impress!
Bench - causal wear!
Armani - usually hit the sales up and get some nice shirts and jeans!

Now:
Tahari
Larry Levine
Nipon
Calvin Klein
Lilly Pulitzer (consignment, can't afford retail)
L.L. Bean
Eddie Bauer
Anne Klein
When I'm a size 12 or below:
Talbots
Ann Taylor
That's great thinking, I think clothes are a fantastic way to reward ourselves for awesome progress!
There's no better feeling than looking great in clothes you really want to wear!!
All the best with hitting that size 12 goal!
Also, forgot all about Calvin Klein!! Another of my favourites!
Usually I go to outlet villages and get most of the brands I like at a discount - usually end of season but, there's some mega savings to be had!!!1 -
Fitness stuff....lululemon
Otherwise
H&M
Bcbg...if I need something dressy
Medoncino...a Canadian store where I get my dresses
La senza for lacy and pretty things....not a fan of Victoria secret0 -
J. Crew for the most part. I know exactly how their stuff fits and it lasts a long time. I hit them up whenever they have a 20% off + free shipping online sale.
For t-shirts and hoodies, I like Alternative Apparel. Some of their items I can find on eBay at wholesale prices.
Basically I'm skinny and particular about how my clothes fit me. Don't want people to think I'm a sack of bones underneath my clothes so I try to reveal my body in such a way that people will see that I do workout and I'm working with a little somethin' somethin'. Hehe.

The brand that my girlfriend seems to be insistent on draining my bank account with!!
Fantastic stuff but it ain't cheap!!
Good quality!!!
And Victoria secret, I wish I got paid for the amount of times I've been dragged in there!!!!

Ah I get your thinking!
Kind of my logic with my clothing!
Most of my tops are slim fit muscle stretch, they highlight all the right areas without making me feel like I'm wearing anything too baggy!
One of the reasons I like Ralph Lauren but, I'll only buy RL things end of season!!
I'm not made of money!! Lol
Might have to check out that brand you mentioned!!! I'll have a Google later!

Hmm...well I'm not a *kitten* tool, and I really don't want to impress anyone. So I guess Levi's and vans most the time. And when I work out, shorts, vans, and most likely a marvel shirt.1

Iron rebel, ape man strong and live large fitness are my go to's...0

I don't really think about labels or brands unless it's workout cloths or out doors clothes.
For workout stuff
Nike - they're the only shoes for me and the clothes are the only one I'm truly happy with
Dragon fly - it's an UK based pole fitness brand.. Their pole shorts have full crotch coverage
Indi pole wear - again, full coverage
Outdoors stuff
Cintamani - love them and I'm never cold
66°north - their coats are perfect for a storm on a glacier.. You won't even feel the cold
Colombia - NY go to hiking boots
Canada goose - love the brand and its perfect for Icelandic weather but it's ridiculously expensive.
Everyday stuff
Shoes
Bianco - for fancy stuff
Nike - everyday stuff
River Island - only jeans that I've been happy with
Other than that... Ugh. I just buy what fits and doesn't cost to much.. I don't like spending money on clothes that will last a year until the next fashion season takes over

I like going to discount stores and buying what's cute. H&M and Target are my go-to if I wanna spend a little more.
When I was obese, only clothes from Torrid really fit. I used Style and Co by Macy's for jeans.1 -
Gothic Catwalk. Im a steampunk and gothic dress lover.0

Brooks Brothers when it's on sale.
George when it's not.0 -
I'm a cheapskate, so...
Usually Old Navy, Kohl's brands (Sonoma or Croft & Barrow), I like Massimo's from Target, Bali for bras, I've got some Under Armour sweater and socks. I got some Columbia stuff for hiking.
Jeans I used to get Lee but got some Levi's at the outlet that fit much better (my shape sucks, they either fall off or I have a muffin top).
Disclaimer - I have a cat, and she likes getting on my lap and getting her claws stuck in things, so yeah.2 -
Nike - shoes and shorts only
Bauer
Adidas
Under armour - hoodies only
Puma
Costco *kitten* if it's cheap

Lulu is so worth it though. Makes your butt look AMAZING and so comfy.
If you can get the stuff on sale it's not as bad. I have one that's fairly close to me so I can pop in and check out the sale rack.
And I shop alone so no one gets dragged anywhere in my life haha but I don't like Victoria Secret we've other Canadian brands I like
I also like Old Navy for cheap dresses and the Gap is nice for t shirts and sweaters
American Eagle for jeans

Anthropologie/ True Religion jeans/ vintage stuff
I like Old Navy active wear but I think most of their other clothes are cut really badly and look cheap (plus the sizes are huge - vanity sizing gone crazy)0 -

Yes!!! But they are cheap! But the sizes I find their XS is often too big lately...I'm not an extra small. I suspect it's just cheap and poor quality control.1 -
Wallflower jeans - because as far as I'm concerned you should have always been able to get women's jeans by inseam.0
-
The only label I pay attention to is on my work pants and boots. Carhartt and Wrangler make the most comfortable longest lasting pants out there, and these 6 year old Red Wing boots still make me feel like I'm walking on clouds.0

Ha .... same here
Wrangler and Levi jeans (dark wash)
and my Red Wing Iron Rangers are the default footwear
otherwise: Brooks Brothers for dress-up
Camper brand shoes for kicking around0 -
I love Country Road and Witchery (in Australia). When I get to my target weight I am going on a massive shopping spree0
-
I pretty much shop anywhere.
For workout gear:
Old Navy
Lululemon
Bench
Walmart
For other stuff:
Bebe (love this stuff !)
Marciano/Guess
Dynamite (I think this is a Canadian brand)
BCBG
H&M0 -
Ummm I shop at the thrift store for most of my clothes so I really don't care or pay attention to the brand
I do like Sirens though also Suzy Sheer two stores in Canada. Oh also I sometimes buy clothes from eBay cause I'm cheap and I also like unique stuff so it's good for finding that
As far as shoes go I only have one name brand pair of boots and that's doc martens all my other boots I really don't know what brand they are

I love love love forever 21 because all of the clothes are so perfect and exactly the style I like to wear...I used to have panic attacks at that store because I felt I was too fat to wear any of the clothes and they very rarely carry a size large, let alone anything cute in the plus size section, but NOW I fit a medium in all of their clothing since I lost weight. It's perfect, and I'm wearing these cute clothes for the first time ever because when I was at my anorexic weight I was such a mess and cold all time and insecure so I couldn't wear crop tops and cute skater skirts and tall socks, and when I was like 182 pounds I obviously didn't fit into anything cute but I now go to the mall and I bought myself 2 new outfits from forever 21 to celebrate losing 12 pounds. Other than that, if I had more money I would love calvin klein underwear sets, I really like target brands as well because they're so inexpensive0

Wal mart and dolla' sto' brand
I used to wear mostly American Apparel and Lululemon before I gained weight. Wore Dockers when I had to dress business casual for work, though I'm not sure that was fashion as much as me loathing business casual. I was married in a Betsey Johnson dress and have a goal of looking good in Bebe. Always loved their clothes for dressier stuff but was too skinny fat to look good.

I mainly go to discount stores because it's cheaper, you get more for your money, and if you go to just the right places you can get some pretty good quality things.
These are the places I shop for either regular clothes or fitness clothes:
Walmart (our Walmart takes back returns from brands they don't even sell)
Ross
Old navy
Flea markets
Thrift stores
EBay
Amazon
Khols
Aeropostale
For more pricer things and I'm treating myself then I go for Victoria secret or Nike.
I currently own a pair of high end heels that are Louboutin. They were brand new, my size, and still had the tag on them. They weren't even worn, had no scuffs, or any markings. The tag they had on them said $657, I paid $15 at the thrift store. You'd be surprised what some stuff you can come across.
Overall, if it fits, it's decent looking, comfy, and I like it, then it's a winner in my books.0 -

$15 for Louboutins??! That's the steal of the century!
I love me some beautiful shoes. I have a lot of Jimmy Choo's from when I earned a lot and had no kids. They still fit but I don't really have anywhere to wear them nowadays, so they sit in my closet reminding me of the girls I used to be1 -

Yea, they had 4 different kinds of shoes all my size. I grabbed 3 out of the 4. One of them was marked $90 again I got those ones for $15 too. They're all white and came with a silk pouch for each heel. All were brand new. I only wear them on special occasions like my anniversary or to weddings.
And, who says you still can't wear your Jimmy Choos? Maybe have a "me" day and then just pamper yourself. Set the kids up with sleepovers they can go to and then just relax, make yourself something you love, but haven't had in a while, take a bath, drink some wine, and wear some fancy shoes lol1 -

Wear you're Jimmy Choo's shopping. Somedays I get sick of the mkm uniform and take the boy to his lessons or pick him up at school in nice shoes and outfit . It's fun1 -
I love clothes I don't want to spend a bunch of $$, but I do like to look nice regardless of what I'm doing. When I was losing weight rapidly, I scoured Goodwill to find my favorite stuff for cheap, and now I am just sucking it up, shopping the sales and occasionally paying way too much for a piece that I love.
For work:
Banana Republic
The Limited
LOFT
For everyday:
Old Navy (I actually don't find their sizes to be off....)
Gap
I also buy a LOT of Old Navy workout clothes. They are inexpensive, fit well and do the job.1
