Pronounce CICO

I've never had call to say this out loud, but if I did: Is it said like psycho? That's my favorite option so I hope you'll say that's it.
Or is it see eye see oh?
Is it kicko?
Or just calories in, calories out?

    Calories in calories out.

    But I have never said all that out loud. I say "ingest fewer calories than you burn."

    And when people stare at you blankly when you say that, then ... "I eat fewer calories than I burn". "Calories in less than calories out."

    I got sidetracked by the child poster, but yeah Psycho is how i say it in my head. I have never actually said it out loud like that though lol If i'm talking to someone i just say eat less calories than you burn. I had no idea what CICO stood for when i first came here...

    I would just say calories in calories out because the person probably wouldn't know what CICO stood for anyway.

    But seriously, for me, it's an abbreviation so I say it as the letters just as I would for things like SMS.

    Since I know the Cs are short for "calories", my brain keeps them hard. Don't think I've ever actually said it out loud though. Just reporting what happens in my head when I read it.

    I'm a "see-ko" as well. And honestly, until you asked it hadn't occurred to me that it would be read any other way. But I tend to hate acronyms with a fiery passion (unless they're very familiar I have a hard time figuring out what they're supposed to stand for) so I guess I automatically wordify any that will let me.
