So as I'm doing mfp and watching calories and trying to lose weight with this awesome app...
My husband does a bodybeast program with dumbells. I try to eat healthy and watch calories while cooking many different things since we have kids..
Thing is my husband is on a chicken kick! And what I mean by that is we eat chicken 4/5 days out of the week for dinner.
I love food all kinds of food but I'm running out of chicken ideas! We went to the grocery last night to grab some fruit and chicken was on sale and he bought 4 packs of chicken breasts..
Does anyone have fav recipes involving chicken? And if so can you send them to me in a message or just a link..
im not the best cook in the world so I'm not creative, but I really need some ideas for all this chicken :(

Get a Pinterest account...you will find a gazillion chicken recipes....

I did this the other night...

I suppose you could do it with breast...IDK...I don't cook chicken breast much, usually thighs...a fraction more calories for a whole lot more flavor.

Look up King Ranch Chicken casserole lite recipes. I too am a chicken freak, I mean, I eat it pert near every day. He might like the KR because its a little spicy. Easy to make, just pour stuff and bake. I use a smoked chicken from Whole Foods......MMMMMMM!

We eat chicken more than anything else. I'm into boneless, skinless chicken thighs, instead of breasts for now. There's always chicken soup on hand. Chicken paprikas: saute onions in 2 tbls olive oil, add 1/2 cup peperoncini, the deli cut kind, add 6 chicken thighs, add 4+ tbls smoky paprica, add enough water or chicken broth to not quite cover. Simmer till done. You can mix in sour cream or add some to your plate, or not. serve over rice, pasta, riced cauliflower, or potatoes

chicken is a blank canvas. the possibilities are basically endless. pick a cuisine/type of dish and you could throw chicken into it.

You can actually grill tofu. Coat with bbq sauce (lo cal) and grill like a piece of chicken......doesn't taste like chicken.

This one is really easy, and tastes just as good the next day so it's a good recipe to make on the weekend for a few dinners during the week:
    http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/26610/chicken+cacciatore+tray+bake
(I usually use thighs rather than the lovely legs because they are easier to eat)

And I haven't tried this but I was just looking at this recipe and thought that it looks delicious too: http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/43897/grilled+pesto+chicken+with+potato+and+pea+hash#null

    Couple I've done and love

    http://www.thepinningmama.com/healthy-enchilada-chicken-bake-recipe/
    http://allrecipes.com/recipe/83565/moroccan-chicken-and-whole-grain-couscous/

We like Skinnytaste's parmesan and cordon bleu chicken too.

The other day I just cut chicken breast in small chunks, marinated in teriyaki sauce, then cooked them in a pan with some of the marinade. It was fantastic. Served with rice and broccoli.

I know some people like dumping it in the crockpot with salsa but I just don't like the texture of it.

I made this the other night and it was good.

I make fajitas a lot also using the Penzeys fajita spice. I eat the chicken with grilled vegetables (so, not techhically a fajita) since I don't eat grains and its delicious.

Chicken breast marinated in Italian dressing and grilled.

Chicken breast in the crockpot, cooked with a jar of salsa on top...pull it out, shred it, and pair it with lettuce, sour cream, cheese, and your favorite taco toppings.

Chicken breast shredded with a 15oz can of navy beans, 4oz green chilis, 3 cups chicken stock, and a pack of white chicken chili seasoning.

Chicken breast shredded, mixed with broccoli, shredded cheddar, and cream of chicken soup, baked on a bed of rice (optional) for 30 minutes at 350.

Poach in wine and add to a salad. Use in wraps or soft tacos with salad and either spicy sauces or season the chicken.

Super simple and a favorite at my house:

Cut a pocket in each chicken breast, spread a wedge or 2 of laughing cow cheese and seal it up. Brown the chicken on both sides, then pour a jar of salsa over them and pop a lid on the pan. Simmer for 15 minutes or so until cooked.
