Favorite protein bars

I like to have a protein bar as an afternoon snack. Right now I am into Oatmega bars. Wondering what else you like? I'm looking for something about 200 calories, low sugar (5-7 grams) and at least 10 grams protein. Real ingredients.

OH YEAH! ONE BARS0

Robert Irvine's Fit Crunch Peanut Butter and Birthday cake,
Brand new favorite Wheyfer Double Chocolate (if you like those old fashioned wafer cookies as a kid, you like these)
I like the Combat a lot but they do not agree with me for some reason and I can tolerate just about everything..0 -

Rise bars are good, made with minimal (three to four) ingredients, but you have to watch them, as they are dense AF. A 60g bar is 280 kcal for their honey almond flavor, but the bar is literally just honey, almonds, and whey isolate.
ETA: they also have a relatively short shelf life, so make sure to check dates when you buy them. The oil from the almonds can go rancid.0 -
Combat crunch by far! I love the chocolate cake flavor. Also No Cow bars! A lot of plant based protein and fiber there.0

Pure protein. Yummy. 20 g protein 180 cals3

Luna Protein. I like the coconut chocolate.1

Me too! I was all over these for a long time, now it's just not a good item for me. Funny, my brand of protein powder suddenly started to bother me too. Had to switch it up.
I also like the Quest bars and tried a Fit Joy bar that was pretty good.0 -

I just discovered the birthday cake ones a few weeks ago. They're they damn devil! Lol0 -
Combat crunch definitely but they won't be easy on your wallet. Beside those, I like premier protein...0

All of the RI bars are pretty damned amazing, imo. Probably the absolute best tasting on the market right now. However, at 380 per bar, that there's bulking food for me.0 -
Combaaaaaaaat. I also love B-yup. Red velvet is awesome.1

Agreed, I usually only go for one of those if I have a hell of a workout... And even then, the psychological effect of knowing how many calories are in them kills my soul. Lol. Not to mention, if you actually weigh them, a lot of times, mine are over weight by as much as 7-10 grams, which ends up making it a 420+ calorie bar.1 -
Quest, Combat Crunch, Grenade or Cliff Builder's Bars are my current go to bars. Which one depends on what my macros are for that day.0

I just ordered three flavors of B-Up. I've been doing Combat for awhile (Chocolate Coconut FTW!) and needed something new. I hope they are awesome!0 -

Here is my post from this thread - http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10456479/protein-bar-questions/p1
I do want to make an addendum to it since I've tried the Kirkland bars after I wrote that post. I definitely like them for taste and numbers, love them for the price. I'll probably make these my go-to absent some significant sale I find to make another cost competitive.I've tried pretty much every brand I've ever seen for protein bars. Quest is rather average, maybe a notch above average. For that particular brand, Cookies & Cream is my preference.
MP Combat Crunch is by far #1 for me. Cinnamon Twist, Chocolate Cake, and Chocolate Peanut Butter are notable.
I recently tried the brand B UP and rather liked the bars I bought. This brand looks like it has the highest fibre content (20 g typically) in this category.
I dig MuscleTech Mission1 bars.
Pretty good, but not notably so - FitJoy, Oh Yeah One, Quest.
Meh - Power Crunch, Robert Irvine's Fitcrunch, Ahhhnald's bar (whatever it's called), Think Thin tastes ok but has mediocre macros/calorie.
Pure Protein is good but provides very little fibre compared to the others listed. I see they have a product called "Pure Protein Plus" that does offer decent fibre (15ish g), but I haven't tried this yet. If it tastes as good as the regular bars, then I'd move them up.
Awful, awful, awful and should never be consumed by humans ever - BPI Protein Bars. I don't know how these ever left some taste tester's approval.
One note I'd like to add is that many of these products are cost prohibitive from a brick & mortar store. I buy in bulk online from whoever has a great sale and it makes a big difference. If you walk into a GNC, the Combat Crunch bars will cost at least $30 USD (whatever that converts to in your currency) but I end up paying around $20 a box, including s&h.0 -
I love Clif bars0

most of the ones that i've tried have been sort of . . . weird.0
