190 pounds hoping to be 165 pounds. Anyone else?

Hey there tallish girls hoping to lose 30 pounds.... curious to know what's working for you? How many calories you're eating/ burning. Just dropped my calorie goal from 1500 to 1300 after 45 days of strictly 1500 and only 4 pounds down! Do you eat the extra calories from a work out? Anything helpful? Go....

That's almost exactly me- I am 5'9, started at 284, now 190, hoping to get around 165. I am currently set around 1500 per day and I work out 5 days a week for 45-1hr pretty hard. I sometimes eat back half my exercise calories. I have kind of gotten "stuck" on my weight loss but I know it is because I have stopped meticulously weighing things and started drinking more alcohol. I have to get back on track to complete my goal!1

I'm at 208 now, down from 271 and also 5'9. I'm trying to get to 169 right now and go from there. I exercise about 4 times a week and try to eat between 1500 and 1800 calories a day. Its been slow lately but I've been drinking/eating out more which puts me over a bit. I usually only eat back about 200 of my exercise calories, more if the workout was more intense.0

I'm pretty close to your stats except I don't consider myself tall... Only 5'6" here.

I've been eating around 1400 cal/day for a loss of around 1.4 lbs/week for the last few weeks. I try to get my steps in and usually don't eat any calories from exercise, unless I'm hungry. I eat when I'm hungry. I've tried eating lower than 1400 calories a day and it's usually ok for the first week or so and then I get starving! So I don't eat less than 1400 on average... Don't be afraid to eat a little more if you find yourself ravenous. Um, and that's all I've got.2 -

I'm similar in stats but shorter- 5'7". I'm at 190 and my first goal is 159- top of the healthy bmi range for my height. Will see how things seem once there.; prob will want to be lower.

Currently eating 1350-1500 gross and more or less maintaining, or losing very very slowly. I don't eat back exercise calories regularly, but I do on "long" days. Aka, Saturday's I do higher mileage days (7 plus miles) and eat back 500plus calories, exercise deficit estimated at 700. I start shedding pounds easier when I stop exercising as much and go strictly to the 1300 calories, but I'm working on muscle and cardio goals as much as total weight. Lost a half inch from waist while maintaining total weight this past month.1
