Was hoping to be able to wear a nice bikini
Don't think I can now lol
Spend all your time in bed. Problem solved.7 -
LOL!!
Plus I'd be getting a workout too!4 -
I think resistance training and eating according to your goals/ work outs can help (a professor told me this when I was in college health and wellness) lol1

guys have the "fat pad" area down below around the sporting section... so we have our cross to bear as well... granted, losing weight is helping with that3

I lost about 40lbs 3 or 4 years ago and have kept it off. Now at age 41 I really notice the gobble gobble and my facial skin just seems to be sagging. Just today I was like "if I just had a bit of face fat...." and then I shook my head, gobble neck and all, and said get a grip of yourself, woman.
Age is not in my favour to repair it, I guess.
Sorry. I just had to laugh at this. It rings true for me as well. I'm learning to accept it.1 -
I'm 54 and have lost 93 pounds. In the 2 years it's taken me to do that, I let my hair grow out to its natural salt and pepper color and think I look older than I used to because fat is no longer giving my face a youthful roundness.
My breasts sag.
I have loose skin on my belly and thighs.
I have a small bit of turkey neck, but nothing dramatic.
I absolutely love my body and wouldn't go back to being regularly mistaken for a younger person like I used to when I was obese for all the money in the world.
On the way to becoming thin. I hated the loose skin and bat wings, but now that I'm here and know what it's like, for the first time in my life, to be fit and feel good in my body? I no longer care about them in the least.

I am 51 and have been at my goal weight for 3 years now; (45 lbs down). I have to admit, I look significantly older after the weight loss and there's not much to be done about that short of the surgical option. Like some of the other replies have said: there's not much control you have over time and genetics. One thing I will say to ALL younger people; wear your sunglasses outside so as to avoid creating squinting lines and wear sunscreen. Those are two age-defying tips. Be happy about your success! Good luck to you.
I'm 49 and look significantly younger since the weight loss
Genetics, rate of loss and proper progressive resistance training2 -
42lbs over 11 weeks is kind of excessive and dangerous to a lot more than a bit of lose skin. I'm surprised you aren't seeing issues in your hair, nails, hormones, mood
Please slow down your weight loss, and try to stop being so goal date oriented ..that's a pathway to yo-yo dieting which you will regret far more
Find a decent gym get on a free weights programme with a good PT1 -
Why does the title of this thread make me hungry? I don't even eat meat and when I did eat meat i didn't even like turkey.1

You have had good feedback re turkey neck etc. I agree it will inprove with time- genetics dictates how much.
With regards to the bikini- get one now, wear it about the house so you get use to seeing yourself in it, and use to wearing it.
When you do wear it pay attention to your posture- everything looks perkier if you stand and sit well.
Wear it like you own it.
Halter tops are a good choice, as mentioned above, but I find the twisted bandeau the most flattering for my sagging breasts.
Have a great honeymoon.
Cheers, h.
( I'm old, wear a bikini with a far from perfect body, and don't care what others think. Pics of bandeau style

Work out? do you lift? Lifting might help the chest tighten some. It depends. And losing weight slower helps.1

I have all of this and more. I also feel fantastic, and clothes and supportive garments can do wonderful things. I'd rather have my health and this feeling more than anything. Even at 45, my doctor says if I give it time, there is still hope. There is also winning the lottery and having surgery. Honestly, I'd never go back, and I can live with a turkey waddle, deflated fun bags and all the rest. I feel GREAT, and I'm going to live longer (barring accidents) and better because of what I've done. Focus on that.4

Congratulations on your weight loss and marriage! Do some weight training, maybe body weight exercises and give it time. Enjoy your honeymoon, but i second a good push up bra for the bikini though. That's the only thing that gives my boobs some shape since loosing weight . As for turkey neck, it's probably not looking as bad to anyone else, as it does to you. We are our worst critics, so try not to worry too much about it.0

I for one, am looking into plastic surgery. I can't handle this neck...if it's actually going to stop you from losing the rest of the weight and being happy and healthy, I'd at least check into it too.
Many doctors have a payment plan, to me it's worth the investment to reward myself for all the hard work.1 -
We all have flaws. I don't stress myself over them.
I think I'll take some loose skin and living longer with a better quality of life over being obese any day.0 -
