How can I figure the calories burn for an activity not in th
dointime

I want to enter some walking that I did while pulling a wagon. I can't find anything that I feel would be really comparable in the database. Pushing or pulling a stroller would probably be the closest thing, but it says I burned less calories than if I just entered walking 3.0 mi/hr. I was pulling my 2 kids (80+ lbs combined) in a 14 lb wagon, so I know it was more of a workout than just walking. I am planning to do this on a regular basis, so I would love to get accurate info and save it for future reference. Any ideas where or how I can figure out how many calories I burned?

Maybe you could go on google and type in calories burned while pulling wagon and see what that pulls up or maybe search for a site that gives you a calorie count for different things or something like that0

You could add walking and then add carrying boxes/household items alongside it?0

I think there's an option for pushing a wheelchair, that may be close. Otherwise I suggest getting a heart rate monitor so you know exactly how many calories you burned.0

I agree google it and add it to your exercises and you'll have it every time you need it!!
i found this:
walking while pulling a wagon w/2 kids in it burns
217 calories per hour
Assuming weight of 154 lbs or 70 kg0 -
Thanks for all the suggestions. I will see what I can find!0

You probably burned more then, but I wouldn't sweat it. Better to err on the low side is my motto.0
