Rremember that what's important isn't what works as long as you can stick to it - but what you can stick to. Good luck :)

Lifestyle changes. I used to do the yo-yo thing myself. Instead of managing 1 macro (carbs) - I now manage all food. Because when I get to goal I don't plan on eliminating anything.

Sounds like me. One thing I found was that the big induction weight loss didn't happen on my second time. I lost 14 pounds in the first two weeks when I first did Atkins, but only 4 pounds the second time. The weight did eventually come off, but it was slower.

I also did Atkins years ago and lost a good amount. Gained it all back plus some after going back to eating old way carbs included.

This time I'm losing weight exactly the way I plan to maintain it, by eating what I want to eat. I want pizza then I have pizza I just fit it in my day's calories or I make a lower calorie version. Potatoes for breakfast my favorite I just don't have them everyday.

I eat about 40% carbs 30% protein and 30% fat. This seems to keep me full and I can eat what I want within my calorie goal and I don't have to eliminate anything.

I've had an experience like that too. It took that for me to reakize that if I go back to the way I ate before, I'll be the weight I was before. It's a life change for me.

Good luck. onsider joining the Low Carber Daily for more support. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum-the-lcd-group

No matter what approach, caloric deficit is what causes weight loss.

As others have already suggested, start eating now in a way you can maintain for life. If I can lose triple digits eating whatever I want (while carefully managing my portions, like with a food scale), you can too.

I'm doing a calculated carb diet. 80-100/day. That keeps me just in keto most days. It definitely helps my run away appetite.

I tried the low carb group. It's probably fine if you're truly low carb. No one got me there. So I left.

    Good luck.

80-100g of carbs and you're in keto?
