Looking for some motivation mammas!

I am a 31yo new momma to a 6mo boy. I am trying to get back on track with eating while maintaining my milk supply, I would love some momma friends who are in the same boat!!

    Hi there. My son is currently 14 months but I started my journey on mfp last November. I breastfeed also and I found it very tricky to find a good balance where I could lower my calories,and workout yet still make milk. I lost 50 lbs relatively fast. I found it best to keep my workouts light and not reduce my calories too much or I would not produce milk. When I began strength training I lost my milk supply in three days but it came back once I stopped. Just be gentle with yourself, it takes time once you are done breastfeeding it becomes a bit less complicated.

    Yikes! I dont really workout at this point, besides walking and some light jogging. I do add in "breastfeeding" as an exercise everyday so I add calories back to my total :) So far I have been back to tracking for a little over a month! Its so nice to start tracking again, even if I am not losing anything! My milk is def more important than my weight!!

    Hey, I am a mama to a beautiful boy. He is now coming up on 16 months. I am definitely trying to get on track and lose weight. I still breastfeed so I'm not looking to lose my milk supply either. My goal is to make healthier choices and do a short workout daily (30 Minutes or so) I'm hoping those positive changes will help until he's ready to self wean :) Feel free to add me if you want, I'm looking for motivational buddies also. :)
