I have been at 160 for the last 3 weeks! I am gonna try and drink more water cause im not drinking very much...maybe 20-40oz a day so im gonna shoot for 80 and then im gonna workout everyday again...I have been doing like every other day and I was doing everyday so I think that's why! Any other suggestions would be great! Thanks

Have you tried a free day, cheat day or whatever you want to call it. Sometimes that one day is all your body needs. If you are likely to not be able to get back to eating properly after that one day, it may not be for you, but for many it helps. Don't weight for at least a week after doing it though.0

Do you eat back you calories, what are your daily calories set to? What exercises are you doing?0

Give your metabolism a shake. As you mentioned increase your exercise. If you eat back your exercise cals try not eating them a few days and then return to normal. On the flip side if you keep your calories low, then go A LITTLE crazy for a day with the calories and then increase the exercise.
The shakeup usually works for me. Good luck!0 -
For me, it helped to eat more protein. I upped the percentage of my calories coming from protein and tried to eat fewer calories from carbs. I know it also helped to eat more calories, I moved my weightloss from 2lbs to 1lb/week and lost more weight.0

Yup - change something up - or change a couple of things up. I keep hearing that confusing the body is GOOD. Mentally - for us - routine is helpful - but it is not so helpful for the bod.
So - yeah - take that cheat day, or adjust the water, or the workout, or any combo or all of the above!
ETA: I have not hit a plateau yet - so I do not speak from experience - just what I have read. However, I can agree with what I have read because I confuse my body with a cheat day at least once a week and different work outs - and I am still losing. Maybe it is because I still have so much to lose? I dunno.0 -
I've been at a plateau for 3 months I've tried just about everything to bust it!
Change up your workout. If you've been doing the same thing for a while your body will get used to it
Change up how much you eat. Try eating 200ish calories more.
The full list of things that I've tried is in my siggy lol. There's a link that a few people have in their siggys, I need to find it again but it's a blog galled "the most dreaded word in weightloss" She lists some great ideas for busting a plateau. Keep an eye out for it!0 -
Thank u everyone! I will try upping my water and exercise for a week and see if that helps. If that doesn't then ill up my calories...I do eat back my exercise calories just because im set at 1230 cals a day anyways0
