I'm looking for input on gaining 3-4 pounds after eating pizza and ice cream night before. Has other experienced this sad water retention weight gain and how do they get it off.

Weight from water isn't REAL weight. Unless you're really lean, water weight isn't change much on how you look. If you're trying to lose fat weight, you just have to be consistent in your calorie deficit.

It happens to me all the time. So I just go high protein and drink green tea (3-4 cups) for a day or two, the sodium flushes out faster that way. Just my experience.1

I can gain 7-8lbs in water weight with enough sodium. It goes away after a couple days. Just drink more water.2

I have pizza and ice cream almost every Friday night, worked into my calories. I almost always see a gain on Saturday mornings due to the sodium, but it's usually off by Monday.1

Yes! Every weekend!
But it comes off by the following Friday (weigh day)
This weekend I've gained 8lbs
I've been bad . Alcohol Friday, bad food yesterday and today.
But I've still stayed around my calorie allowance, plus I saved calories from each day so I can have treats.
I weigh daily so I can see what's working and what doesn't.
It's just water weight and I find it's alcohol and high sodium foods that cause the gain
Drink plenty of water and be good on your diet u til treat day.
