    I have a converter app on my phone which is very good, and free.

    If you're online you can just type "4g to oz" (for example) in Google and it will give you the conversion. It's pretty good like that, works for measurements, weights, lengths, temperature...

    Same here.

    As a side note, if i see anything measured in ounces in the database, i move on. It may as well be written in Chinese lol If it's not in grams then i make my own entry.

    I just divide by 28. Close enough. Although it's pretty rare I would want to do this. More often I would want to go the other way.

    Why? If you eat 4 oz of chicken you will be eating 112 grams of chicken. So what is the problem?

    I measure in oz or grams what ever I find more convenient and it has never affected me when I was losing or even now than I am on maintenance. I really never understood the reasoning of choosing grams vs oz.

    Because I'm in Australia and we stopped using imperial measurements back in the 60's before i was even born. That's why i said food measured in oz may as well be written Chinese. I've never used ounces to weigh anything in my life.

    Yeah, if there are imperial measurements, I move on because I figure it must be a US product which doesn't apply to me.

    Even growing up in Canada, we made the switch to metric when I was in about Grade 4. I can't even begin to visualise what an ounce is.

    Plus grams are just so easy to work with. :)

    And if I do have to make conversions to translate a US imperial measurement to metric, I use Google's conversion feature.
