December Walking Challenge

Hello! Would love to begin a December walking challenge! Where you, the individual make a goal for December regarding your own walking regiment/goals. May it be regularity, number of steps or just to walk more when you have the choice... my goal will be to walk EVERY morning for 20-50 minutes, as that it the time I prefer, ad works for my family's schedule. If I walk 1-2 times a day on top of my daily activity I usually put in about 12K steps which is well above my daily goal- and that's awesome! Join me! I would love to have more friends and support moving around and walking with me!

Hi...I would love to join your challenge. My name is Sydney. I need motivation to move everyday so this is great. I usually do 10k steps a day as a goal. Sometimes it is hard to make that goal. However, I want to step it up so for Dec I want to do at least 12k steps a day. Let's do this!2

I would love to participate. Walking is my main form of exercise, lifting iron is the other. My goal is 8000 steps a day I usually finish in the 10,000 step neighborhood. So, count me in and friend me, lets get moving!!3

I'd love to participate. My goal will be very broad: "intentionally take a walk every day" as I'm just getting back to some healthy rhythms after a long period of transition.4

Would love to join! Throwing a goal out there, 350,000 steps and formal walks 4 days a week. December is a tough month for me as I have no days off till Christmas3

My goal: 10,000 steps Monday - Friday, 7,000 steps weekends.3

I'm in! my fitbit should be here this week, I'm assuming i'm chilling at about 3500 steps/day, I'm going for a progressive goal.
Week 1- 5000/day
Week 2- 6200/day
Week 3- 7400/day
Week 4- 8500/day4 -

I want to join. I have never tracked by steps but often walk with my dog or use the treadmill. My goal is to walk daily, period. My days at work are long and often when I get home, I am so tired. I will overcome this barrier and walk either in the morning or night; daily. My name is Constance. Thanks for the support.2

I'm in as well! I was also thinking about a December walking challenge just on my own as well. I challenge myself to walk every day and achieve at least 10,000 steps daily.2

I'm in!! I'm trying to bump up my steps so I'll set my goal at 12000 5 days/week and 10000 the other 2, so I guess I'll just say 80k/wk1

I'm a slug and often don't get 3000 steps! I'm setting a goal to double that, 6000 steps a day. That requires me to get up from my desk and take a lap around my floor every hour or so.3
