The progress I have made in the process of losing weight are incredible to me - the muscle I've gained, the fat I've shed, the flexibility I have. I had an itch on my shoulder this morning, it really made me appreciate all that I've done for myself, feeling the muscle I have built, being able to reach back and around without pain or strain. I was wondering what things others are proud of, hence the thread.
Ha! It's tough when you have to pick just one at times. Thanks for the support!
You got mine too.. I could not bend down too well let alone scratch my own back... now I can squat like no other and scratch my own back...but I am too old to brag about that, as @Grey_1 already knows...LOL1 -

Speaking of tough crowds, there's nothing better in the world than impressing yourself. Not joking. Self esteem comes from feeling like you've done esteemable things.1 -
My calves. Being overweight most of my life has chiseled them quite nicely.3

Yes! Today at the gym, I got on the chin up assist machine for the first time. The trainer was very excited to help me with it, set the weight and demonstrated. She asked if I've ever done a chin up before, I told her that I just end up dangling, can't move at all. The machine allowed me to be successful in something I have never ever done, something I could only dream of. It was wonderful to feel the strength I've been building to be put to use...to lift my self. I did need the weight assist for chin ups and dips, but managed to hold my body weight up for a while. Just that little taste of success made me feel amazing. Looking forward to incorporating that into my workouts from now on.5 -

My shape (with clothes, on it)! Even when I was 1 pound away, from being obese; I didn't look it because I grew wide, instead of my stomach growing out in front of me; so I maintained a thin side profile look & I never had a, double chin; plus my breasts didn't grow either (I consider that, a great thing because they were, already 36 C's & if they grew, they might've deflated; as well)!1

I was just jesting... you noticed the wink icon at the end?
Sure, I saw the wink. Just because you throw that in there, doesn't mean that your attempt at humor was successful. We've covered this.
FYI, if you have to explain a joke, you did it wrong.6 -

Blind fold me and let me figure which one is feeling my favorite body part.

The biggest thing I always notice between weight loss and gain is the addition and loss of flexibility. I LOVE how much more felxible and less exerting it is to move/bend when I am trimmed down. Conversely, when pudgy I make those old-guy pudgy boy sounds when bending and moving, which I hate.3

Legs for sure... it's the only thing that comes natural for me.1

Yeah, this is pretty much me...I put on about 10 Lbs while nursing an injury for about 15 months...it definitely sucks.0 -
