Hi. I'm 4 weeks postpartum and a mommy of 2 with my 4yo son and my new baby girl. I enjoy eating healthy, but I'm still so used to giving in to all of my cravings (including pizza, snickers etc). So its hard to stay on track with my caloric goal. I also enjoy exercising if I can find the time, especially since my little girl uses me as a pacifier LOL. I often struggle staying motivated by little more than the scale, which I know does not always accurately display my progress. Feel free to shoot me a request.

I had a c-section 7 weeks ago. I carried twins as a surrogate. Although I've lost most of the weight I still look like I'm 5 months pregnant. Really hoping to lose 70 pounds.
    Add me.

Hi angie, I am 15 days postpartum to my third baby boy. Just got on the treadmill today for the first time.
I too am motivated by scale number but after seeing how different the third child has done my body I am trying not to focus on that.

You've been cleared for exercise 2 weeks after giving birth?

I think as long as you are careful and listen to you body, you should be OK (given there was no complications).

You ladies need to give yourself some time. It's way to early to start worrying about this. You just made a person. Give yourself a YEAR to get back to where you were. Obviously there's nothing wrong with eating healthy, but your recovery and health, and your baby's health come well before losing weight. The hormones, the lack of sleep, the needy babies will do a number on you mentally, you don't need to add extra stress.

Honestly I was excited to start working out again. I had postpartum depression after my first, and me trying to get back in shape a little sooner this go round has helped relieve my stress and improved my overall mood. I feel amazing now. My baby is healthy and happy, and so am I. I am now 3 lbs from my prepregnancy weight. Everyone recovers at their own pace.

Hi ladies. I too am a new mom - she is two weeks old and so is my c section site. I'm waiting until I am doctor cleared before I start exercise or diet for weight loss (all my loss since delivery has been just from natural after baby pounds disappearing) but I'm interested in making friends who are also new or renewed moms who are or will be working to bring their body back to a healthier size.

I'm only 2 pounds above my lowest weight of the last two years, but I'm already 16lbs below my starting weight for my pregnancy. I did IVF to get my girl and the hormones added almost 20lbs to my body. Please add me if you are recently postpartum also!
