Hi All,
I've been on MFP for a long time now but never even knew there was a forum! My name is Erica and I am trying to get back in shape for my best friends wedding in May of next year. Knowing that one bridesmaid is older than I am, with three kids and has a great body, and the other is an award winning fitness bikini model has really made me not want to look like complete garbage in the pictures!
So, if you would like to follow as I literally kill myself over the next 6 months to get in shape, feel free to send me a friend request!

There's no need to kill yourself. You can do this without too much pain. How much are you trying to lose, and how are you trying to get there?0

Hi Erica my name is Sandy. You have plenty of time to get in shape without killing yourself. Lol. Just stay focused and set mini goals for yourself so it's not so overwhelming. I personally do biweekly goals which seems to work for me. Rather than looking at the big picture.0

If you kill yourself, you won't be in the wedding...unless you become a zombie and wouldn't that be fun.
Just be sensible. Do pilates or something. Yoga...just not ashtanga...have to be quadriple jointed for that...stuff. Love & hate pilates. Feels good to do it (for about 5 minutes), it doesn't take long to see the results (3 weeks of pilates a couple three days a week and you can see the diff, in my experience)...but it totally kicks your kitten after the fact (the next 25-40 minutes. Or 9 if you do the Ana Caban Energy Boost that is only about 15 minutes...but that's enough).0
