Don't go over your calories.20
-
you need to open up your food diary if you want any kind of advice...
what is your calorie goal? how are you approaching it during the day? (breaking down calories by meals or what?)2 -
Self control. Also play with your macros a bit to see if you can find the sweet spot. Mine is a carb, fat and protein every meal.5
-
CatB409, If you don't mind me asking, what is your daily calorie goal? Are you splurging on junk food, or are you just finding it hard to stay within your calorie goal in general?0
-
Why did you go over? By how much? What put you over? Was it a meal? Snacks? Were you hungry or just grazing?
Hard to advise without more info!5 -
Me too but need more info than that
I got really depressed/bored/lonely and ate chips0 -
Calorie goal is 12400
-
I went over by-4400

you need to coke to make you belch? you could switch to the flavored waters - I get them at my local grocery store they are lower calorie; or just have water

I am a frequent fast food eater and have learned to keep it in my calorie goal. I would substitute the Coke for unsweetened tea and have extra nuggets or a burger instead of the fries. If you logged it and saw you were heading over your goal, you could have cut your dinner in half to accommodate.5

You can get a kids meal fries and nuggets and a diet coke? Or coke zero, which may taste better to you.
Though, I like to bring around a LaraBar or some fruit or 100 calorie guac/hummus in case I need a snack. I keep a little thing in my work bag for whenever I may need it. Also, if you feel peckish, drink water. Sometimes you're just thirsty and it can hold you over until dinner.

not for me = I found that I craved the bubbles rather than the soda per say0 -
Ok thanks deanna0

i love eating, as most do. I often go over my calories and instead of punishing myself i try to make up for it. I will go on a 30-45 min walk, do a work out video, play just dance. It helps me get more active and i dont need to feel guilty.5

Thanks@fishshark didnt think of that0

If you'd swapped the coke for Diet Coke you'd have saved 300 or so calories
That said if you only have 1240 calories allowance a day there is no way that nutritionally you would hit your minimums eating like that
Fruit juice smoothie would also be a bad idea with such limited calories...high in calories, low in satiety (for many)
You need to move more and pre plan more and switch sodas for diet soda7 -

Why do you want to belch after every meal? If you're eating ~1200 calories and feeling as though you have to belch, you're possibly swallowing a lot of air. Try eating slower and chewing longer.
Or if you really have to burp every meal, go for diet fizzy drinks/sparkling waters.2 -
You could also add in some exercise. I love food far too much so I work out to let myself have more! If you're going over, you could easily burn 400cals in a cheeky hour in the gym. If you're going to be busy though, pop a protein bar in your bag, theyre usually between 200 and 300cals, so a much better lunch substitute in a hurry3

Look up your regular fast food places online and make yourself a mental list (or even an actual written list) of lower calorie items that make satisfying-enough meals.
Personally, I'd just stay away from fries altogether. All they ever did was give me something to munch on while driving until I got to where I was going. Just sticking to the main part of the meal, I realized I didn't need the fries at all. They were a complete waste of calories. So try just getting the nuggets, sandwich, whatever.
Really, what's up with your need to make yourself have to burp? Anyway, plain soda water, diet coke, coke zero.2 -
This is like the second thread where you've insisted you have to have soda to force a belch, and refused to answer anyone who asked why you think you have to do that. What's the deal here? The curiosity is going to drive me insane.8

Yep. Diet coke or coke zero. McD's has both.
What is your height, age, current weight and goal weight? Please answer and PLEASE open your diary.1
