You'll likely gain, but it isn't the end of the world. Just get back on track.4

Are those two low days real? If so they may explain the high days. You might not gain, depending on your weight you may just stay the samr1

Ye all real0

Maybe the low calorie days are your problem. I would get really hungry and binge too!3

Do 5:2? Is it maybe not working for you and causing the binges? What's maintenance for you? Obviously this says 6000 calories over but that may be including a deficit so more like 2500 over for the week which isn't nearly as much of an issue.1

Are you purposely doing intermittent fasting? Doesn't seem like it is working for you and causing some major binges. Maybe try eating a more consistent amount each day.2

No kidding. If I somehow managed to make it through a day on <600 calories, I'd eat everything in the house the next day.4 -

Perhaps explain what you are actually trying to do.....
Are you trying to eat 1200 daily or something else? Because you haven't been close to 1200 any day so it's really not clear how you are intending to budget your daily/weekly calorie allowance.1 -
Back to basics . Fasting triggers my binges ! Back to 1500 daily and burning 300 daily at the gym . Disappointed that I have binged and will probably gain but got to move on !3

Yeah, eating 500-600 calories a day would make me binge the next day too. I would try to eat a consistent amount of calories everyday, that's what works best for me to avoid binging.0

Yep... back to basics. Take it easy! I personally cannot do 5:2 because of binging. I do better with the same amount of calories daily.

Just out of curiosity, what exactly happened on the day in which you consumed over 4,600 calories? Was it planned, emotional eating, or something else? What changes can you make to ensure that something like that won't happen again in the future?
Once you have that answer, consider it a lesson learned and go back to your usual daily calorie consumption habits. It is only one week.0 -

What is your maintenance level?
Because if your maintenance level were say...2000 calories, I only see probably half a pound gain. Easily managed, no big deal.0 -
Have you done any exercise? Worst case scenario, depending on your current weight and activity level, you might gain a little bit. If you have been active, again, depending on your stats and activity, you might maintain or even lose. Look at it as a lesson learned. It looks like 5:2 is not the right approach for you.0

1660 is my maintenance x0
-
Well... have you gained? Only the scale will tell.
Also if 1660 is your maintenance I'd suggest around 1400 per day for weight loss. 1500 is only a deficit of 160 per day which is only a 0.3 pound per week loss so I think you would get frustrated with how slow that goes. 1400 per day will give you 0.5 pound per week loss.0 -
That's the same as me that's a tiny bit over one pound up for the week assuming you burned nothing through exercise.
But I agree that 5:2 probably isn't your best strategy.0 -
And no more 5:2, it clearly does not work for you. It wouldn't work for me either.0

I tried 2 weeks of IF and failed miserably. Same huge swings. Although I never hit 4600 in a day-- that's impressive.
Today starts a new week and the opportunity to go back to what has worked for you in the past.0
