design your fitness plan to include chocolate every single day. After weeks of having it every single day. .you'll realize it isn't going anywhere. Trader Joes has great 100 calorie chocolate bars in a box. Also.. i love the chocolate Halo Top Ice cream.. 240 calories for an entire pint.

If you want chocolate, work a little into your day. I prefer later at night so I am not tempted to snack on other things.
I agree....stop worrying about your 340 cal breakfast. Mine (when I do eat it) are twice as much. No biggie. Just as long everything you eat fits into your calories. Nothing wrong with brownies if you like them. As for soda, why not go diet or zero sodas? I prefer the taste of zero sodas or pepsi max.
You need to be kinder to yourself.
Stop being so harsh to yourself.
Stop beating yourself up. If you truly want to change, you won't beat yourself up. You need to learn and adapt.
(I know...I essentially repeated myself in a different way there, but it bears repeating).
There is nothing wrong with any food as long as you stay within your calories.
If you heavily restrict calories and have cut foods out because you think this is the only way, stop. Obviously this isn't working well for you. Just focus on calories. Calories are important for weight loss.
What are your stats @CaitiCat2016 (age, height, current weight, goal weight) and how many calories are you eating now? Please answer.

If we feel we can't exercise self control on certain things it may be best to just avoid whatever it is. All this eating just a square of chocolate once or twice a week may be easy for some folks, but for others it only leads to eating the whole stinking bag of chocolate. That is why I know better than to do that. It's like telling an alcoholic to just have a sip or two of beer a week.
Meanwhile, Just pick up and move on. Also, if it happens to be anywhere near that time of the month just give yourself a break. Cravings (especially for chocolate) tend to hit hard around that time. Maybe even up to a week or two before for some folks. Don't beat yourself up. One thing that may help you is to find some acceptable alternatives. There are a lot of 90 calorie snack bars out there and some of the fudge brownie or general chocolate ones are pretty good. They may get you through tough times. OR as was mentioned by another person up top maybe try buying single servings only of these items. If you bake, take some to a neighbor that way you won't have the whole pan of what ever it is to deal with.
That's why I keep those specific chocolate items (dark chocolate, sugar-free pudding cups, and skinnycow frozen chocolate truffle bars) you can have it every day without doing damage and they are particularly difficult to binge on. But the stop you from buying and eating that pint of Ben and Jerry's.0 -

I am guessing your goal is around 125?
2lbs per week is okay for now, until you reach 170, but if you want to eat more, change your weekly loss rate to 1.5lbs per week.
No need to cut out any foods. Just use a digital food scale to weigh ALL foods and recipe/sandwich/salad components. Use the recipe builder for ALL your recipes (don't choose generic entries or other peoples recipes). Only use cups/spoons for liquids and never solids.
Weigh pre-packaged and pre-weighed foods as they can be about 20% off.0 -
I eat something chocolate every day. Some of my favorites are Fiber One brownies (90 calories), Swiss Miss hot chocolate (90 calories) and Chobani Flips Greek yogurts (100-240 calories depending on the flavor). I also like Brook Side chocolates. Just try to find something that you can fit in daily. There is no need to cut it out completely unless you are allergic to it.0

I save calories from every single day so that I can eat dairy free ice cream every night. I don't think you should cut chocolate completely. Keep it but assign it a time of day, maybe?1

I have figured out some ''sweets'' that aren't really sweets, and then occasionally I'll have some of the good stuff... but only one portion.
For example, I love having Greek yogurt mixed with cocoa powder and Truvia. It tastes like a sweet but it barely has any sugar and it packs a protein punch which is great for satiety. Another thing I enjoy is those caramel chocolate chip rice cakes and they are only 60cals each. I love making my own popcorn too. I make it a couple different ways, but one way that is sweet is with one teaspoon coconut oil, Truvia and cinnamon.
Then, there are days like today where I have indulged and had a bunch of stuff I liked and kept it at a portion or half a portion each by sharing with my daughter. This way, I get my sweets in but without busting out my calorie goal.
I think it takes practice, but ultimately I think it is the most important thing to lose weight because most of us are overweight because we couldn't practice moderation. So I think it's a key component to master in order to be successful throughout the process and after while maintaining.
Good luck oxox0
